Take one low-key 1966 Studebaker Commander 2-door sedan, add 383 cubic inches of blown Chevy stroker motor, a 5-speed, and a suspension to hook it up, then dress it up in show-quality paint. If you want attention, this nasty Stude delivers in a big way. The color is Pewter Gray from the GMC truck color pallet but it sure works well on the angular Studebaker. Small cars were pretty popular in the '60s, and the Commander looks awesome now that's been given a steroid injection. There are still signs of Raymond Loewy's vision in the dramatically sculpted fenders and the modern paint seems to make them even more prominent as the light plays across the surface. Someone spent a ton of cash on the bodywork, getting everything very straight and giving the paint a fantastic shine, and as a former economy car, the gaps are probably better than new. The front bumper was molded into the body and the simple, clean front end will have onlookers puzzling over its identity at shows. The big engine hanging out of the hood isn't much for keeping a low profile, but the car practically demands attention everywhere it goes, such is the quality of the work. Someone has thoughtfully added "1966 STUDEBAKER" decal on the windshield, which will surely cut down on questions at the shows and there's a cool Hurst badge on the tail that's a cool period addition. The interior is not as hardcore as the bodywork would have you believe, offering beautiful modern buckets with 5-point harnesses, plush carpets, and full interior trim. The wood-rimmed steering wheel warms things up a bit and a few flashes of red on the pedals and center console are a nice contrast to the otherwise monochromatic interior. The original instrument panel has been augmented with a big Auto Meter tach in the center and some auxiliary gauges under the dash, and the steering column is now a tilt unit that makes it easy to get comfortable. This cruiser also includes a neat under-dash A/C unit that blows nice and cold as well as a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo head unit that sounds great thanks to lots of sound-deadening materials inside the body. The trunk is still useful, although the mini tubs, fuel cell, and battery take up some of the space, but you can see how beautifully finished it all is. That big 383 is based on a 4-bolt main block stuffed with an Eagle rotating assembly with H-beam rods. Special blower pistons and a roller cam were selected to work with the BDS 8-71 supercharger and two Holley double-pumpers. RHS cylinder heads handle the force-fed mixture and an MSD ignition system lights it up. It's a tight fit in the Stude's little engine bay, but workmanship is outstanding, with custom side panels and a smooth firewall and lots of attention to detail. There's a big aluminum radiator up front that keeps it cool even with the A/C running and you're really going to dig how the headers snake out through the sheetmetal inner fenders. A Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission sends all that supercharged horsepower back to a custom 9-inch Ford with 3.70 gears inside, so it's quick but easy-going on the highway. The chassis has been extensively modified and upgraded with rack-and-pinion steering, ladder bars, and 4-wheel disc brakes, plus a custom Flowmaster exhaust system that sounds wicked. Traditional Torque Thrust wheels are probably a low-key choice and they look awesome wrapped in big-n-little 205/75/15 radials up front and 29.5x12.5-15 Hoosier meats in back. Beautifully built, insanely fast, and rare enough to attract attention without being obnoxious, this cool Studebaker couldn't be duplicated for twice the asking price. And by "a little different," I mean a Studebaker like this 1925 Studebaker sedan. It's got all the familiar upgrades, so it's a pleasure to drive, but nobody else will have anything like it and if you're tired of cookie-cutter fiberglass rods, this is an awesome alternative. This big Stude is imposing from any angle, combining the upright formality of a '20s sedan with the muscular look of a modern rod. It was built quite a while ago but recently freshened, so it has the right look and plenty of upgrades to make it a joy to drive. The black paint is appropriate on a big sedan like this, although you'll also find custom touches like the red and gold highlights and even very, very subtle ghost flames on the front end. They were careful to keep all the many details that make these cars unique, from the big grille shell and drum-style headlights to the cowl lamps to the rear-mounted trunk, all of which look pretty good with the other mods such as the semi-flush taillights and big driving lights up front. Yes, it's got a few signs of use, but we can guarantee that nothing else you can buy (especially at this price) will attract anywhere near as much attention. And it's still practical, too! The interior is totally custom, with alligator and ostrich hides on the bench seats and door panels. On the other hand, the wooden window garnish moldings are pure 1920s, as is the massive wooden steering wheel that still sits on the original steering column. Upgrades are many, including A/C, an AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo radio in an overhead console, and a pair of Auto Meter gauges in the center of the dash. The rear seat offers massive stretch-out room and still uses original window cranks and door hardware for a vintage look, and you'll note that even the windows have been pinstriped. None of this work could have been cheap and everything remains in good condition overall, meaning you can get in and head out on the road without any worries. The engine is a recent 350 cubic inch crate motor installed about eight years and 10,000 miles ago. It's considerably more powerful than the Stude's original inline-six and pushes the big box through the air with ease. It's pure function under the hood, with the accessories tucked in tight to the block, headers wrapped in protective heat wrap, and a 4-barrel carburetor up top. There's a big radiator up front and with all that frontal area, keeping things cool is effortless. The front suspension was borrowed from an '80s Malibu, and includes power steering and front disc brakes and there's a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission that makes this a great highway flyer. Out back, the rear end from a Blazer sits on gigantic leaf springs and there's even a heavy-duty hitch if you need some extra carrying capacity; the Stude's heavy-duty frame won't mind. The dual exhaust has a nice burble and the red steel wheels with trim rings and hubcaps look just right, even wrapped in fat BFG rubber. After spending a majority of its life on a cattle farm, this Studebaker got a new lease on life and is ready to make you the star of any show. It's also a lot of fun to drive and makes a very practical rod. Wearing fantastic period colors, and a ton of chrome, this cool cruiser is sure to stand out at any car show and provides V8 power to back it up. As far as we can tell, those are the original colors, Tangerine over Snowcap White, and if you're going to own a car from the 1950s, why not get one with the ultimate '50s color combination? Quite honestly, it works rather well with the somewhat conservative-looking bodywork, and with a great soft gloss, it looks exactly right. All four doors fit well and the gaps line up neatly, so someone invested in getting this car back into shape during the restoration. The Stude's many unique details are a big part of its appeal, many of which have been borrowed by customizers for decades; just check out the peaked taillights, the exhaust pipes poking out through the bumper ends, and the hooded headlights. And no discussion of a '50s car is complete without mentioning the chrome and stainless trim, all of which is in good shape and represents a rather sizeable investment all by itself. The interior's mix of colors, textures, and materials looks very period-correct and the wide bench seats are a simple contrast to the high-impact bodywork. Black carpets, two-tone door panels, and a few details painted Tangerine highlight the comfortable interior. The cloth upholstery remains in good condition with only light signs of use and age while the back seat looks almost new. The instrument panel is a very cool design with the speedometer perched up high in its own pod and conventional round auxiliary gauges in the dash below; is this the first heads-up display? The original AM radio remains in the dash and while it doesn't play music, it does power up so perhaps a repair will be easy. Seat belts were added during the restoration, always a welcome safety improvement, but otherwise this Stude remains pretty much as the factory intended. As you'd expect, the trunk is truly massive and offers a correct mat, a full-sized spare on a matching fifth wheel, and even a jack assembly. Studebaker's 289 cubic inch V8 is torquey and smooth in the big President sedan, and while it's not about performance, it moves rather well. The engine bay is very stock, complete with a factory air cleaner assembly, 2-barrel carburetor, and turquoise engine enamel. Little details like the generator, hose clamps, and wiring are factory-spec, lending this Stude a very authentic look under the hood. It starts easily and runs well with a muted V8 soundtrack from the dual exhaust system, and the 2-speed automatic transmission shifts well and generally stays out of the way. Highway-friendly gears in the rear end mean that the President cruises easily at modern speeds without working too hard and the ride is luxury car smooth. 205/70/15 whitewall radials wrapped around color-matched steel wheels and hubcaps add an air of distinction to the big President and complete the '50s look. This car also includes a lot of Studebaker period literature and a factory build sheet, making it a great addition to any Studebaker lover's collection. For sale is a 1941 Studebaker Champion 202 Coupe located in our Indianapolis showroom. This is an all steel \'41 Studebaker Coupe that absolutely draws attention wherever it goes. This 1941 Studebaker 202 Coupe is powered by a rebuilt Ford 302 CID V8 engine, backed by a AOD 4-speed automatic transmission, running to a Ford 8\" rear end with 3.88 gears. The small block 302 CID V8 is a rebuilt Marshall Blueprint engine and makes great power along with being very streetable and reliable. A few other nice touches you will find under the hood are additions of an aluminum intake, Holley carburetor, ceramic coated headers, and an electric cooling fan. Behind that small block sits an AOD 4-speed automatic transmission outfitted with a transmission cooler and aluminum driveshaft and provides much better fuel economy over a typical 3-speed transmission. Options on this 1937 Plymouth 2-Door Sedan include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Hub Caps, and Radial Tires. The exterior of the this rare \'41 Studebaker Coupe remains unmolested and still sports its original trim, badges, bumpers, and grill and has been repainted in a sleek black paint job. The interior has been professional redone in gray cloth with the seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner all being replaced. The dash still sports its factory look with its original gauges and steering wheel which will definitely appeal to the purists. A cool feature on this car is the rear \"opera seats\" that neatly fold up in the rear for extra storage space or can be dropped down allowing a small space for two to sit down. A few modern upgrades you will also find in the interior are a \"Vintage Air\" air conditioning system with heat and defrost along with an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player. To improve the overall drivability of this classic Studebaker, a Mustang II front end was installed and is accompanied by discs brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. To give this Studebaker a hot rod touch, a set of red steel rally wheels with stainless beauty rings and \"moon\" hubcaps wrapped in staggered radial tires were bolted on. Not only does this Studebaker look cool it also drives like a dream and has passed the NSRA 23 point safety inspection the last 8 years. You see lots of Fords and Chevrolets at the car shows, so why not stand out in the crowd and get behind the wheel of this rare 1941 Studebaker Coupe. To view this 1941 Studebaker Champion 202 Coupe in greater detail, including a high def video, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Indianapolis showroom. Many pictures are loading, please be patient. Don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions! 1990 Avanti 4-Door Sedan Only 96,790 Actual Miles! Automatic Transmission 302 V8 Engine! Only 89 Ever Produced! A wonderful opportunity! Here is a very rare chance to get one of the rarest sedans ever produced! Up for auction is a 1990 Avanti 4-Door Sedan! Here's a bit on the Avanti Sedan pulled off Google: While Studebaker president Sherwood Egbert had envisioned a four-door sedan based on the Avanti way back in 1963, this 1990 Avanti four-door sedan currently on offer is not the result of Egbert's dream. Instead, it's the product of John J. Cafaro's brief tenure as the head of Avanti in the late 1980s. The Avanti four-door, based on a Chevrolet Caprice chassis, is the only vehicle Avanti Automotive Corp. built in 1990. This version of the car was unveiled at the Greater New York International Automobile Show in March 1989. How many cars can you truly say are rare? This is one of the rarest cars on the planet to own! The car runs and drives nicely. I wouldn't call it a show winner at this point as it has a few quirks pointed out in the photos below. It would need some light cosmetic and mechanical work to be a legitimate show winner. However, with its pure rarity and unique looks it still commands all the attention at any car show it goes to! The car's previous owner lived here in Texas, Houston to be exact. The car belonged in a collector's private collection until the car was damaged in Hurricane Ike in 2008 when the collector's garage flooded from the rain (fresh water, not salt water!!). We acquired it from the insurance company. The damage was relatively light, but we did give it a mini-restoration and went through the entire car and made sure there were no lasting effects from the water exposure. The car was always kept in a rust free environment as the body has no rust at all on it! Due to the insurance history, the car does come with a rebult-salvage Texas title which is the same as a normal clean Texas title except for the notation on the front of the title "rebuilt salvage", "flood damage". If you haven't noticed by now on classic cars like this it's not so much the title history as it is the condition of the car itself. There are plenty of rusted out cars sitting on blocks in fields that have perfectly clean titles, but what are those going to get you besides a headache? Come see this car and you'll be impressed! This may be your last chance to get a car like this. With only 80-90 ever produced you may never see another one on the market! Don't miss your opportunity to own this beautiful car! This car is truly a beautiful Avanti. You will be the envy of other owners at car shows! You will not be disappointed! Don't settle for second best! Get the car you have always dreamed of owning! Don't let this wonderful opportunity pass you by! If you have any questions don't hesitate to give us a call at 571-969-2054 What a rare car! These four door models are few and far between. Some say 80 some say 90 made but in either number it's still incredibly rare! The passenger corner of the front bumper is chipped as you can see. What a unique car! The entire body is made out of fiberglass. The original paint is 24 years old now and does show some light cracks in some places under close inspection. Here on the driver side as you can see. On the bumper. Just look at this beauty! What a find! This car will capture the curiosity of anyone who is nearby! This car has no fenders. It's all one big piece of fiber glass! The body is still very straight! The 24 year old clear coat is failing in a few small places. You can see it here. Even from the rear the car still looks incredible with these unique looks you won't find anywhere else! This car had another logo back here at some point. You can see the holes that were drilled to attach them. This is the real deal! An Avanti! The body is still incredibly straight! The car has held up real nicely for being all original! Just look at these unique lines! Clear coat beginning to fail behind the rear wheel as shown here. The paint still looks great up here! It's 24 years old and isn't perfect but all in all its still nice! A small spot up here as you can see. The hood looks great! Another spot on the passenger side behind the rear door. The rubber trim on all four windows needs to be replaced. It's 24 years old and has dried and broken off in most cases. Not a hard fix. See what i mean? You can see half the rubber then the other half you can look straight into there. Wheels and tires still look great. Tires have plenty of tread but are starting to show some time related age wear. Above one wheel is some light spider webbing of the fiberglass. Clear coat cracking on and next to the mirror. If it wasn't for the clear coat and a few fiberglass cracks the exterior would be near perfect. Trunk still looks great! The carpeting is a little discolored, but all in all it's still nice! Driver's door and trim still look great! Here's your first glimpse into this original 1990 Avanti 4-Door! All original in here. Driver's seat is showing some wear expected for an original car of this age and mileage. Not too bad for 24 years old. This car hasn't been restored in any way! Power seat controls still work great! Passenger side door also looks great! You'll be pleased with all the luxury this car has to offer! They really made something special with this car! Passenger's seat is in even better condition. The leather looks great! Just look at how nice it is! Original Avanti interior! This power seat is also working great! Rear doors still look great! No scuff or kick marks to be found! Rear seat passengers have plenty of room and even have tray tables! What a luxury sedan! The tray tables retract easily! This door is also looking great! You'll be pleased with this car's all original condition! The rear seats were very seldomly sat in! They really have held up well! This car has got it all! Very unique! Rear seat passengers will really enjoy all the comfort! Only 80 of these cars exist. You won't find a rarer car out there! The driver will enjoy all the looks they get while driving! This car is a sight to behold! So will the passenger! A very comfortable ride being surrounded with leather and woodgrain! The interior still looks good. It's held up nicely for being 24 years old! The a/c and radio still work nicely! Transmission shifts great! The woodgrain still looks good. The window motors are showing their age leading to us refraining from operating them. We'd hate to send the window down only to see it not come back up when commanded. All the motors could use a good lubricating/service. Vanity mirrors. I couldn't get the lights on the mirrors to work though. The car did have an auto dimming mirror but it's permanently dimmed now due to its age. The car has had a radar detector installed in a very discreet place here. The headliner still looks great but has come down slightly on the passenger's side a the seam as you can see. Back here still looking nice! We found some promotional material for this car. It's very hard to come by. This car was really rare! Copy of a window sticker! This car had a sticker price of $48,000 in 1990. This isn't from this car but for illustration purposes. All the gauges are still working! Original mileage! The engine still shows nicely and runs very well! What's nice about this rare car is that the parts that made it are anything but rare. This car is on a Chevrolet Caprice chassis! This car can be serviced at Pep Boys or Goodyear! You don't need a special mechanic! This is the real deal! The 302 v8! Plenty of power for this Avanti! Engine is still in great shape! It fires right up! It appears the heater has been bypassed. This is a car you would be proud to call your own! You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’m a regular consignor at the Mecum auctions as well. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! Two years ago I opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public on Saturdays. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. We except all trades. If you’d like to be added to our VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like us on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 38 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. Description1941 Studebaker President Sedan VERY RARE! VERY RARE! VERY RARE! This is 1 of only 7,801 built in 1941! Invited to the Radnor Hunt Concour D’Elegance in 2010. Only 100 vehicles are selected for this show! Body tag indicates: 7C = 1941, W = 4-door sedan, 3 = built spring of 1941 and 797 = body style! This car was treated to a very extensive no expense spared restoration a few years ago. MS CLASSIC CARS has recently invested roughly $15,000.00 completely re-restoring the engine compartment, trunk compartment and undercarriage. We also gave the exterior and interior some attention to detail! The exterior body is very straight with great gaps. The two tone brown paint color combination is beautiful! Mostly everything on the exterior was restored or replaced and is in great condition. The glass appears to be new and is in excellent condition. All of the exterior lights works accept the rear plate light. Even the emblems and bumper pieces have the painted correct red stripes! The car sits perfectly on orange steel wheels with chrome hub caps and brand new Lester 7.00 x 16 bias ply’s. These tires were $1600.00 alone. The orange wheels also complement the exterior colors so beautifully! The tan interior is very rich and elegant. Everything in the interior has been restored or replaced and is in great condition. Such items include the headliner, dash, steering wheel, door panels, seats, seat belts, carpet and floor mats. All of the windows roll up and down effortlessly. Everything works as it should including the clock. The dash temperature gauge isn’t reading correctly but there is a second temperature gauge under the dash that does work great. My shop did a little cosmetic work to the interior to bring it to the level you see in the photos below! The trunk compartment is very neat and clean. My shop actually completely restored the entire trunk compartment. It has the spare tire and tire jack tools! The engine compartment is highly detailed and home to the 250.4 cubic inch L head eight cylinder engine that produces 117 HP. Everything was rebuilt or replaced during the restoration. My shop completely re-restored the engine compartment cosmetically from top to bottom. They pulled the engine and everything else out so every piece could be stripped and repainted. The engine was also completely tuned including new sparks plugs, fluids, etc. Although it has the original style fuel pump an electric fuel pump was installed for easy starting. This car starts almost immediately and purrs like a kitten. It runs at 180 degrees all the time with no overheating issues. The battery is brand new. Search the internet for any 1941 vehicle and you’ll find not many engine compartments look like this one! The engine is coupled to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. This car cruises at 60 MPH smoothly! The steering system is a symmetrical direct-action linkage with variable-ratio gear. It’s easy to steer and very tight! The undercarriage is also highly detailed. Everything was rebuilt or replaced during the restoration. My shop completely re-restored the entire undercarriage cosmetically from top to bottom. The frame is a double drop steel with partial box section side rails and straight x-member. The front suspension is independent, planar with transverse leaf spring enclosed in grease packed metal cover with shock absorbers. The rear suspension is a solid axle, 8 leaf semielliptic springs enclosed in grease packed metal cover with Houdaille lever shock absorbers. This car drives and handles amazing down the road! This vehicle has had a MS CLASSIC CARS classic car detail valued at $400.00! “As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold a few beautiful Studebaker pickup trucks but never a car. The car you’re about to witness isn’t just any classic car but a very rare classic car! Studebakers are becoming very collectable and prices have been on the rise based on their important automotive history in the US. As stated above Studebaker only made 7,081 Presidents in 1941. There becoming near impossible to find especially in nice condition. This 1941 Studebaker President is better than nice it’s very nice! It was restored a few years with no expense spared. The exterior body is very straight with excellent gaps. The two tone brown paint is in beautiful condition and screams luxury. The orange rims with white wall tires fit it perfectly and make a statement. The suicide doors open to into a beautiful interior that is both classy and comfortable. There’s tons of room for rear passengers which makes them feel like royalty. The engine compartment is highly detailed and home to the 250.4 cubic inch L head eight cylinder engine that produces 117 HP. The engine starts almost immediately and purrs like a kitten. The trunk compartment is also highly detailed and home to the spare tire and jack assembly. The trunk is big enough to hold whatever you desire. The undercarriage is also very detailed many restored or new parts. This Studebaker drives and handles like a dream considering its 73 years old. You can bank on the fact while you’re driving it or showing it you won’t see another. I would challenge anyone to find a comparable vehicle for less. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – the owner Inspection Report"Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what's being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. We’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 250 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that ALL the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear were not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchases all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answers all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited myr website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I'lll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Thank you for the opportunity! "Why buy from MS Classic Cars? 1024x768 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE What makes MS CLASSIC CARS different from other classic car dealers and from vehicles being marketed privately on the market for sale? * Each vehicle has been hand picked by the owner Marc Schiliro * NO CONSIGNMENTS. We own and know all of the inventory. * NO SALESPEOPLE. Deal directly with the owner Marc Schiliro when you call or email. * Every vehicle goes through a service process unlike most vehicles on the market for sale. * Every vehicle gets a complete MS CLASSIC CARS Classic car automotive detail which includes the exterior, interior, engine compartment, trunk compartment and undercarriage. This is valued at $400.00 * Every vehicle has a detailed description with over 100 photos including the undercarriage which is done by the owner Marc Schiliro. * Assistance with transportation once the sale is completed. * Easy transaction from start to finish. Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal. Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own. It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work. Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide. The classic car and truck market is growing every day. It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows. Get your new classic car or truck today. You only live once, if you can afford it, do it! I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only. The closest airport is Providence, RI. It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership. I can arrange to pick up at the airport. I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer. Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Marc Schiliro

Featuring a two year restoration that was completed in 2008, this light green sedan is powered by a smooth-running 218 cubic inch L-head inline six! Although the Dictator was Studebaker's lowest priced model in 1936, only trumped by the 8 cylinder President model, it certainly doesn't mean anything was compromised in terms of style and luxury. The Dictator line was available in many body styles and featured an abundance of styling details. The signature vertical grille proudly displays clean and bright chrome and leads the eye to the freestanding headlights nestled on bullet style cradles. The horizontal separators on the side add a nice touch of elegance. A split windshield augments the chrome rear view mirror up front, and like most cars of the era, there is only one taillight that sits next to the big, notchy trunk out back. The green paint is smooth and lays nicely on all of the panels which feature even gaps all around. And when you step back and shift your focus to the large, flared fenders that sandwich the wide running board it's really hard not to appreciate the presence this car brings to the road! Open the suicide doors and you're greeted by a plush, tweed interior. In front of the driver is a very handsome instrument panel that provides all of the necessary information such as fuel level, speed, oil pressure, water temperature and amperage. Within easy reach is the long gear selector that communicates changes to the transmission, and the vintage three spoke steering wheel provides a great diameter for smooth turning. The color matched dash is certainly an interesting piece and even gives the passenger a pleasant sight with a dignified glove box. The door panels are simple, but provide a nice touch with an Art Deco inspired stitched design that surrounds chrome handles and cranks. Rear passengers remain happy with a roomy and plush bench seat, providing them with hours of comfort for those long, sunny day cruises. Overall, the interior is very simple, yet stylish, and comes together very nicely for a package that is fun to look at and comfortable to sit in. The Dictator was available with a 218 cubic inch, L-head inline six cylinder in 1936. But with 90 horsepower, the Dictator was surely no slouch for its time...and this one still aims to please. That smooth-running inline six sends power through a four speed transmission, back to a solid rear end to provide happy cruising. The X-frame chassis is stiff and provides great handling for a car of this era. Stopping comes courtesy of hydraulic brakes, and it all comes to the road via stylistic steel wheels and 6.00 x 16 bias ply whitewall tires. Less than 30,000 Dictators were produced for the 1936 model year, and with the fit and finish this one presents, let alone the few that are left, we don't expect it to last long in our showroom. Hello and welcome to my auction please read this Message First!!My ad's are different. I try to put Lot's of Pictures and they take a few minutes to download. I put A lot of different cars on EBAY and I Export most all of the cars either Overseas, to Canada, or across the United States. I Specialize in 1 & 2 Owner cars with Low miles. I feel they were Maintained better. There is a Free Autocheck in the ad. My scores are sometime DOUBLE the Average car. Although sometimes I can't pass up a good project...;-p. Anyways the BEST way I have found to tell You about my cars and show you everything on them from Thousands of miles away is a Video. On the 4th Picture down You will notice a play button in the center of the picture press it and watch away it’s a 15 to 25 minute Video of This Car!! It is a HD video so you may have to pause it and let it download a few minutes but you'll love it. This car is listed on other sites and is for sale. This Auction could end before its end date if sold elsewhere. Most of my EBAY auctions have the best offer button. Feel free to make a REASONABLE offer. I am a nice and Sociable person, ring me up if you have any questions about the car or if you have any problems looking at my ad here. Thank you very much for your time and considering my Vehicle. You can tell from first glance that this car has been babied its whole life. It did not take much to detail this car and it just looks so good. The paint looks beautiful and it is hard to find many imperfections on it. It has the California Chrome Package on it with the factory tinted window that give this Benz even more character and class. This is my favorite model of car ever built. The W140’s are known for their class and luxury and this car is no exception. I have been driving it around the last couple of weeks and the only thing I have had to do is put gas in it…;-) If you get a Mercedes like this one that you know has been taken care of and well maintained and you keep up with the proper maintenance and care. It’s going to last you a long time. These cars were built to last and if you had one in the mid 90’s you were the man. This car is a true luxury that cost over $100,000 brand new. Make sure and check out the video below, I go thru the whole car and show you anything and everything about it and even take you for a test drive to show just how great this car is. Michelin Premises MX4 Tires with lots of tread left on them. It looks like they were replaced not to long before they traded it in. On The Chrome Mercedes Wheels that look great & shine like there’s no tomorrow. Options:Automatic Transmission 5.0L Power Windows Vacuum Locks Power Mirrors Leather Air Conditioning Sun Roof Factory Medical Kit Factory Tool Kit Factory 6 Disc Changer in Trunk The Light gray Leather Seats go great with the Silver paint and as you can see they don’t show much wear at all. A little on the drivers seat from getting in and out, but that is about it, The back seats are still like new and doesn't look like anyone ever really rode back there,. Even the light grey carpet barely sow any wear. They previous owner kept the floormats protected with the plastic film and even put it on the kick guards to keep them from getting scratched up. It came with most all of the books and manuals (there could be something missing to totally sure). All of the power options function properly and the vacuum close doors still work like new. The Air Conditioning Blows Cold but not ice cold like it should, it may need a recharge at some point. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. Make sure and check out all the pics and video belowThe blue paint is a beautiful color, but it does need to be repainted. There are a couple of dings here and there as you will see in the pics and the video below. All the Chrome Trim, Grill and Bumpers are in really Great shape and shines beautifully in the sun. It has the Factory Hub Caps that really make the car look good…;-) I have the hood ordainment, it just needs to be put back on. It has been sitting for a little while and now it won’t start but I am sure with a little tinkering you will have it running in no time. Like I said this is qa light project car that just needs a little bit of work and it will be a great driver. Options:4 Speed Manual TransmissionFactory Radio The White Seats and Door Panels really Look Good and the White just pops when you open the door, It really accents the blue paint. There are a few stains in the seats that should come off with a good cleaning. It does not have the original floor mats, it did not have any in it when I got it and I had an extra set from a different car and thru them in here. This car is all here and will be a great car with just a little TLC. We drove this over to my parents house and it drove good, but felt like it was lacking in power. Then it started leaking fuel and we got that fixed. Then it sat for the last few months and now we can't get it to start, I am not sure why, I believe it may be a fuel delivery problem, but I am not 100% sure. It could be anything. It just needs someone who has the time and knowledge to work on it. I wish it was me, but right now I don't have the time. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. Hello, I have an original 1969 Ford Thunderbird 429ci 4 door with “suicide doors” for sale. I would say this is an outrageous “barn find” but is hasn't been stored in a barn! It has however been sitting in the same place since 1982, give or take a year. The windows haven’t been shot out and in fact the keys were still in the ignition, I could not get in the glove box without possibly breaking something so I just left it closed. Out of all the cars the interior of this one is in the best condition, after we took everything off the seats they don’t even look like they are even worn, they still need replaced I’m just saying the interior isn't too bad at all for a car that has sat this long. There are wheels somewhere around the farm for this car we just haven’t found them yet but we will. The tires were good and one of the Grandkids took them off and never put the rims back. As I hope you can see from the engine air cleaner this has the factory 429 and also hasn't been “tinkered” with in anyway. It was ahead of its time and seemed like it had some electrical problem when it was parked. I actually rode in this car when I was a kid, it was quite a thrill then and should be even more so now! The cars, trucks, tractors and other items I will be listing in the next few months are from an estate of one of my closest, oldest Friend’s family. There are some super rare cars I will be adding as I get more information on them. These cars have all sat outside since they were new and were used as storage units after they were parked, it has taken a toll on the interiors, mice, grease and other nasty smells and some wiring but the units are MOSTLY complete, some may be missing small items but for the most part these cars were driven (between 1960 -1975) to where they are parked and not been ran or messed with since. None of these cars have ever been “restored” or altered in any way, everything that is on them came from the factory like it sits. Look carefully at the pics and remember that is exactly what you will be getting, nothing more or less. We are honest people and want to be treated honestly too, I will do my very best to answer any questions you might have. Terms are: Money order/money wire sent within 24 hours of auctions end, if you absolutely have to use paypal, email me for phone number and we will talk it over. There will be ASSISTANCE with loading items, just assistance! We can’t do it all for you but we have a front end loader and will be glad to help you in any way we can get it on a trailer, we just can’t do it alone. PLEASE have funds ready and be willing and able to pay if you bid, that is all I ask. I don’t have the time or energy for non-paying bidders. I don’t want to sound harsh but it has to be this way. Thanks so much for your understanding and looking at my auctions! John…. Coming soon 195 Packard Patrician, one owner 50,875 miles. 1972-1974? Chevrolet Nova SS, 350 engine, 123,084 miles? (not sure yet on miles & year) 1937?? Studebaker?? Army truck, 4 wheel drive with Hercules motor? Armor plated may have been halftrack converted to a truck? Haven’t been able to figure out what it is yet?? MUCH, MUCH more to come in the next few months so add me to your favorites!!
