THANK YOU1968 Chevrolet Camaro Custom -- $59,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve collected and sold nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 300 classic cars and trucks. I own the entire inventory and know each vehicle well. I don’t offer consignments but will occasionally list a vehicle for a family member or friend. I currently sell 90% of my classic cars and trucks privately on various websites and 10% of my classic cars and trucks at the Barrett Jackson auto auctions. I’ve had many vehicles sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles at multiple Barrett Jackson auctions. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’ve also featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I also have had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. However, currently I’m not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I opened the new facility located in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 2012. MS CLASSIC CARS is closed to the public but available by appointment Monday-Friday. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale between the current inventory and coming soon page. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. I’ll consider all trades. The power of networking is amazing! MarketI've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. I’m just a 39 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. The bottom line is I went all in. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” Marc Schiliro – The Owner Description1968 Chevrolet Camaro Custom LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION…….IT’S SHOWTIME! OH YA! THIS IS AN AMAZING SHOW CAR THAT ATTRACTS TONS OF ATTENTION! MS CLASSIC CARS INVESTED OVER $15,000.00 IN THIS CAR WHICH IS FULLY DOCUMENTED! AS THE VIN NUMBER AND TRIM TAG INDICATE THIS ORIGINAL 8CYL SPORT COUPE WAS BUILT AT THE NORWOOD FACTORY THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY 1968. IT WAS BLACK WITH BLACK BUCKET SEATS. THIS IS A FULLY DOCUMENTED ROTISSERIE RESTORATION THAT WAS DONE BY “THE CUSTOM SHOP” LOCATED IN FLANAGAN, IL. THIS CAR WAS BUILT FOR THE 2009 SEMA CAR SHOW IN LAS VEGAS, NV. THEY’VE BEEN BUILDING CLASSIC CARS FOR SEMA FOR MANY YEARS. THIS CAR STRIPPED TO A BARE METAL SHELL AND THE BODY WAS COMPLETELY RESTORED. SOME OF THE SHEET METAL WAS REPLACED SUCH AS THE QUARTERS AND FLOOR PANS. THE BODYWORK ON THIS CAR IS VERY NICE. THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT AND THE GAPS ARE EVENLY SPACED THROUGHOUT. THE HOOD, DOORS AND TRUNK LID OPEN AND CLOSE NICE AND TIGHT. THE EXTERIOR CUSTOM PAINT IS TRULY STUNNING ON THIS CAR. IT’S A COMBINATION OF PPG 2001 LAMBORGHINI GREEN AND TRIPLE COAT PEARL. IT’S REFERRED TO AS FLIP FLOP. THE GRAY METALLIC RACING STRIPES WITH DUAL OUTER PIN STRIPES ADD THE ICING ON THE CAKE. THE REAR TRUNK VALANCE WAS ALSO PAINTED THE SAME COLOR GRAY WHICH LOOKS GREAT. IT’S THE FIRST CAR I’VE EVER OWNED THAT I CAN’T EXPRESS THE COLOR IN WORDS. THIS COLOR HAS MULTIPLE COLORS AND TONS OF METALLIC IN IT ESPECIALLY IN THE SUNLIGHT WHICH MIGHT NOT SHOW UP IN ALL THE PHOTOS. AS IF THE PAINT WASN’T ENOUGH THEY AIRBRUSHED CUSTOM AIR VENTS ON THE FRONT FENDERS THAT APPEAR REAL IN PERSON UNTIL YOU GET REALLY CLOSE TO THE CAR. THE PAINT ON THIS CAR IS VIRTUALLY FLAWLESS. MY DETAILERS DID A GREAT JOB BUFFING THE PAINT TO A SHOW QUALITY SHINE! EVERYTHING ON THE EXTERIOR WAS RESTORED OR REPLACED. SOME OF THE ITEMS INCLUDE ALL THE GLASS, STAINLESS TRIM, WIPERS, DOOR HANDLES, BUMPERS, GRILL, LIGHTS, ETC. I HAD MY STAINLESS TRIM GUY RE-DO THE REAR WINDOW TRIM WHICH CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL. SOME OF THE CUSTOM FEATURES INCLUDE THE MODERN HEADLIGHTS WITH BUILT IN DIRECTIONALS, LED LIGHTS IN GRILL, REAR LED LIGHTS AND SIDE MARKERS. THE CAR HAS A GREAT STANCE ON CUSTOM PETROL 5-SPOKE POLISHED WHEELS THE ARE 18” ON THE FRONT AND 19” ON THE REAR. THE CENTER OF THE SPOKES WERE PIN STRIPED THE SAME COLOR AS THE EXTERIOR TO ADD CHARACTER. IT HAS BF GOODRICH G-FORCE TIRES THAT ARE 235/40/48 ON THE FRONT AND 275/35/19 ON THE REAR. THE INTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS REALLY SWEET. EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETELY RESTORED OR REPLACED DURING THE RESTORATION. ALTHOUGH THE INTERIOR OF THIS CAR WAS FINISHED I DECIDED TO CHANGE A LOT OF IT WHICH I BELIEVE MADE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE. LISTED BELOW IS A LIST OF SOME OF THE INTERIOR AND TRUNK COMPARTMENT FEATURES. • ENTIRE INTERIOR WAS WRAPPED IN DYNO MAT INSULATION. • PAINLESS WIRING WAS USED THROUGHOUT. • GREEN HEADLINER. THIS IS VERY COOL ESPECIALLY FROM INSIDE THE CAR. • DASH WAS PAINTED GRAY TO MATCH EXTERIOR STRIPES. • DASH PAD WAS WRAPPED IN CARBON FIBER. • DAKOTA DIGITAL GAUGES. • BUDNIK 15.5” CUSTOM STEERING WHEEL. • ENGINE COMPUTER HOOKUP AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT. • BILLET WINDOW CRANKS. • BLACK SERIES PEDALS. • APC CUSTOM BLACK SEATS WITH CARBON FIBER INSERTS. • CARBON INSERTS IN REAR SEATS. • SEAT BELTS THROUGHOUT. • LOKAR BLACK SHIFTER. • PYLE VIEW 5.6” REAR VIEW MIRROR WITH BACK UP CAMERA. • SONY SOUND SYSTEM INCLUDING AMPLIFIER, SPEAKERS AND REAR SUBWOOFER BOX. • NEWLY CARPETED TRUNK COMPARTMENT. • CARPETED BLACK FLOOR MATS. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS NICELY DETAILED. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND UNDER THE HOOD WAS PAINTED THE SAME COLOR GRAY AS THE EXTERIOR STRIPES. THE PADDING IN THE HOOD IS GREEN LIKE THE HEADLINER WHICH LOOKS COOL. THIS CAR WAS FITTED WITH A MODERN LS (LQ9) V8 ENGINE. THIS ENGINE WAS A GREAT CHOICE BECAUSE IT’S SO USER FRIENDLY. THE ENGINE HAS A COMPUTER LIKE A NEWER VEHICLE AND CAN BE PROGRAMMED OR TUNED. THE ENGINE WAS BUILT WITH A MILD CAM AND PERFORMS NICELY. IT HAS THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF POWER. MY ESTIMATION IS SOMEWHERE AROUND 350HP AT THE FLYWHEEL. I INVESTED OVER $2000.00 HAVING THIS ENGINE COMPLETELY SERVICED AND TUNED PROPERLY. SOME OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FEATURES ARE LISTED BELOW. • RING BROTHERS HOOD HINGES. • UNDERCOVER INNOVATIONS FENDER SUPPORTS AND SHOW PANEL. • CUSTOM CARBON FIBER WRAPPED VALVE COVERS WITH EMBLEMS. • MSD COILS AND COVERS. • BLOCK WAS PAINTED TO MATCH EXTERIOR COLOR. • WEILAND POLISHED LS SERIES INTAKE. • PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS 85MM THROTTLE BODY. • HOLLY EFI BLACK FUEL RAIL KIT. • KWIK PERFORMANCE BRACKETS. • CUSTOM FITTINGS THROUGHOUT. • CLASSIC AUTO AIR CONDITIONING. • NEW NAPA BATTERY. • CUSTOM MARK Z ALUMINUM RADITOR WITH DUAL ELECTRIC FANS. • MBM POLISHED BRAKE BOOSTER AND MASTER CYLINDER. • NEW POWER STEERING BOX. • ALUMINUM POWER STEERING FLUID RESERVOIR. THE ENGINE BREATHES THROUGH HOOKER LS CERAMIC HEADERS AND A 2 ½” MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH X-PIPE. THIS CAR HAS A LOW TONE. IT’S NOT AN AGGRESSIVE SOUND LIKE YOU GET FROM A FLOWMASTER 40 SERIES MUFFLER AS AN EXAMPLE. THE ENGINE IS COUPLED TO A BOWLER PERFORMANCE 4L80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THIS TRANSMISSION HAS OVERDRIVE AND SHIFTS BEAUTIFULLY. THE POWER IS TRANSFERRED THROUGH A PRECISION DRIVE SHAFT AND INTO A COMPLETELY REBUILT 10 BOLT REAR END. MY SHOP COMPLETELY REBUILT THE REAR END WITH THE PARTS LISTED BELOW. • YUKON DURA-GRIP POSI REAR DIFFERENTIAL. • YUKON GEAR REAR DIFFERENTIAL SHIM KIT. • MOTIVE GEAR 3:73 RING AND PINION. • ALL NEW BEARINGS. • B&M REAR DIFFERENTIAL COVER. THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS ALSO NICELY DETAILED WITH NEW FLOOR PANS. IT WAS PAINTED WITH POR 15. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN RESTORED OR REPLACED. SOME OF THE UNDERCARRIAGE FEATURES ARE LISTED BELOW. • FOUR WHEEL DISC BRAKES WITH DRILLED AND SLOTTED ROTORS. THE FRONT BRAKES ARE 13” AND 11” ON THE REAR. • HOTCHKIS FRONT SPRINGS. • KONI FRONT SHOCKS. • ENERGY SUSPENSION SWAY BAR BUSHINGS. • HEIDTS FOUR LINK REAR SUSPENSION WITH TOP CROSSMEMBER, ADJUSTABLE PANHARD, ADJUSTABLE COIL OVER SHOCKS AND CHROME SPRINGS. “AS MY WEBSITE INDICATES I’VE COLLECTED AND SOLD MANY BEAUTIFUL FIRST GENERATION CAMAROS OVER THE YEARS. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I’VE NEVER HAD A CAR AS FLASHY AS THIS ONE. FIRST, I’M A FAN OF THE 1968 CAMARO. I ACTUALLY SET A SALES RECORD WITH A 1968 CAMARO Z28 AT BARRETT JACKSON IN APRIL OF 2015. THIS CAR HAS HUGE EYEBALLS! ALTHOUGH “THE CUSTOM SHOP” DID A NICE JOB RESTORING THE CAR, MS CLASSIC CARS TOOK IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL. AS I MENTIONED ABOVE I INVESTED OVER $15,000.00 INTO IT WHICH IS FULLY DOCUMENTED. THE BODY IS VERY NICE AND THE GREEN PAINT IS BEAUTIFUL. IT LITERALLY CHANGES COLORS AND METALLIC TONE FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES ESPECIALLY IN THE DIRECT SUNLIGHT. THE RACING STRIPES PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE. THE BLACK INTERIOR IS REALLY SWEET WITH ALL THE CARBON FIBER TRIM. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND UNDERCARRIAGE IS NICELY DETAILED. THIS CAR HAS MANY MODERN FEATURES THROUGHOUT WHICH MAKES IT VERY USER FRIENDLY UNLIKE MANY CLASSIC CARS. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A CLASSIC CAR THAT WILL GET A TON OF ATTENTION AND DO WELL AT CAR SHOWS THIS IS THE ONE. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A NICE RUNNING AND DRIVING CLASSIC CAR WITH MODERN FEATURES THIS IS THE ONE. IN MY ESTIMATION THE ENGINE IN THIS CAR IS PROBABLY AROUND 350HP. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A REALLY FAST CLASSIC CAR THAT IS REALLY LOUD THIS ISN’T THE CAR FOR YOU. THIS CAR HAS BEEN PRICED VERY COMPETITIVE. I WOULD CHALLENGE ANYONE TO FIND A COMPARABLE CAR FOR LESS. GET IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!” MARC SCHILIRO – THE OWNER Inspection ReportUnfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 300 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that all the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear I’m not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchase all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. I’m currently selling 80% of my vehicles within 30 days of listing them for sale. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Please read my testimonials and eBay positive feedback. Thank you for the opportunity! Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide. The classic car and truck market is growing every day. It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows. Get your new classic car or truck today. You only live once, if you can afford it, do it! I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only. The closest airport is Providence, RI. It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership. I can arrange to pick up at the airport. 1981 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit Mark 1 Saloon This Rolls Royce Silver Spirit was Special Ordered Brand New by the famed Celebrity and Comedian, Walter Matthau. (Grumpy Old Men, Dennis The Menace, Odd Couple) Mr. Matthau was one of the foremost actor/comedians of his time in the 1960's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. This car has been kept and meticulously maintianed in the Matthau family from brand new and is now available for private sale. Mr Walter Matthau and His Wife Carol, custom ordered this documented beauty from Rolls Royce in 1980 after seeing the newly redesigned Rolls Royce slated to become available in the United States in 1981. Having already Owned a Silver Shadow, they were eager to own this state of the art motorcoach, picking the specific color scheme of Metallic Ocean Blue Exterior and Dark Lunar Blue Creme Leather Interior with every option available including Bosch Fuel Injection, self leveling suspension, and rarest of handpicked burlwood interior. Walter and his Wife took possession in the summer of 1981 at a cost of $140,000.00. This coveted Automobile was so cherished that when Walter Matthau passed on in 2000, His wife Carol kept the car in his honor. After Carol passed on, Walter's Son, Charlie Matthau, (Director and Actor) received the car and enjoyed it himself with his new wife Ashley for some time before deciding to pass this splendid car onto a new owner. (PLEASE SEE PICTURE of Walter and His Wife Carol as well as they other picture of their Son Charlie Matthau and his New Wife Ashley with Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison) Included also, will be a personalized letter to the new owner from Charlie Matthau himself. This Rolls Royce has been extremely well maintained, both mechanically and cosmetically. This car has been nothing but babied. Mr. Matthau and his Wife thoroughly enjoyed this Automobile and used it for Red Carpet Social Events such as the 1982 Oscars, to drive to the studio to film movies such as "The Survivors" with Robin Williams, "Pirates", "The Couch Trip" with Dan Aykroyd and Donna Dixon , to drive toThe 1989 Oscars where he presented Lucille Ball and Bob Hope, to drive to work to film "Grumpy Old Men" with Jack Lemmon, "Dennis the Menace", "IQ" with Tim Robins and Meg Ryan, "Out to Sea", as well as Many other movies sets, Plays, Operas, and other fabulous events. This Exquisite 1981 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit Mark 1 Saloon is a timeless automobile, one of the last of its bread that was entirely hand crafted in Crewe, Cheshire, England, to the highest levels of luxury, well above today's standards. Driving this Celebrity owned vehicle is quite the nostalgic experience, still demanding that very powerful presence. Every moment of driving this motorcoach captures the attention of all the other motorist, especially as a majestic Rolls Royce floats by. This rust free vehicle is being sold with all its original, tools, books, manuals, jack, and accessories. The tools, accessories, and Jack have never been used and are actually still in its factory wrappings.I am also including some Walter Matthau Memorabilia, (movie posters, cards, signed card, registration with name and address, CA plates, special address to new owner from Matthau Family) which is all included with the car. Mechanically, it's as sound as can be, motor, transmission and rear axle all function flawlessly and have always been maintained by a certified Rolls Royce dealer. The a/c blows cold and heater works great. The electrical components are also in excellent working order...everything works as it should: Wipers, mirrors, windows, lights, seats, radio etc. The engine is so clean that it didn't even require a wipe down when it was received and it continues to stay that way. The tires installed are Dunlop GT radials with about 1000 miles on them and about 95% tread. One notable feature of this Rolls Royce is the A/C compressor cooling system is equivalent to 11 home refrigerators! CARFAX CERTIFIED, PLEASE ASK FOR A COPY! (Ebay is not including it for some reason) Cosmetically the car has no major dents, dings or scratches. (2 small dings and few little paint chips) The beautiful Metallic Ocean Blue color shines like new. This is the original color of the car and it has always been garaged. There is one small dent in the left rear of the car but is unnoticeable unless pointed out. Additionally there is a light scratch on the right rear fender about the length of a dime. It's possible it may have been repainted in its lifetime but we can not tell from looking at the door jams, trunk, and windows. This is an accident free,100% original car which was received by the Matthau Family in the exact condition as which it sits now. Therefore, the 2 small dings were compliments of Walter himself. The Connoly leather interior is an incredible condition with no rips, cuts, or stains. The leather has been maintained and is soft and supple, however, this is still a 35 year old car so it is not brand new. This was a smoker car as Walter occasionally smoked when he first got the Rolls. There are 5 ash trays, 2 of which are in the front driver and passenger top burlwood door, which is actually really cool because we have never seen ash trays there before. All the ash trays are clean and there is no smell or signs of smoking or burn marks anywhere in the car. The wood trim as shown in the photos is also in pristine condition. ABOUT THE 1981 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SPIRIT MARK 1 SALOON: Rolls Royce unveiled an entirely new modern design for 1980 after a long 16 year run of the previous Silver Shadow. Although not entirely new, the Silver Spur/Spirit featured many new upgrades in the way of technology, electronics, engine management systems, and all around comfort. The familiar and venerable 6.75 litre V8 engine was placed in the new model matted to the GM sourced THM 400 and the companies completely revised self leveling hydraulic rear suspension. The new system was very similar to the previous Silver Shadow’s suspension but Rolls Royce used a Girling automatic hydraulic ride height control system with gas charged shock absorbers making the ride far superior and more reliable than the Silver Shadows. The Silver Spur was the long wheelbase model which sold alongside the short wheelbase Silver Spirit model. The two new cars marked a very important time for Rolls Royce/Bentley, they were to be the platforms of the new models that would come for the next two decades. This luxury ride is powered by the legendary Rolls 6 3/4L Bosch fuel injected V8 running through a GM THM 400 automatic transmission. This car is finished in a beautiful midnight blue paint with matching top and interior. To complete the exterior look the car sports 4 new tires. The best part of this car is the plush interior. Saddle leather wraps the seats door panels. Traditional wood grain adorns the doors dash. This car has all the amenities of a modern car; A/C Satellite Radio, CD, AM/FM cruise control power brakes power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, leather interior, and radial tires It doesn't matter that this 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit is almost 35 years old, its still a heavy-hitter. Technology may have progressed, but the timeless elegance of a Rolls-Royce is one of the few constants in the automotive world. With hand-stitched leather, burled walnut trim, and effortless performance, there are some things that remain unique despite the passage of time. There is no mistaking the big Silver Spirit, which is positively stunning. Its imposing and formal-looking, and the everyone who sees it will be craning their necks to see who is inside. The paint is incredibly beautiful but not flashy, but that's the Rolls-Royce way, elegance in motion. Fit and finish are, of course, exemplary in every way, with hand-rubbed paint, panels that are tweaked by workers at the end of the assembly line to meet very strict tolerances. Even after three decades, this one looks superb. Its not perfect, but with this quality, it remains tangible in every aspect of the car. The interior is really why you buy a Rolls-Royce. Beautiful Lunar Blue leather is simply unlike anything else available from other manufacturers. The seats are sumptuous and deep, but still supportive enough for all-day comfort. Connolly leather with Woolton wool. plush Rolls-Royce tailored Lambs-wool floor mats. Interior wood appointments feature book matched deep lacquered Burled Walnut veneer. Wilton wool carpets are plush enough to feel through the soles of your shoes, and I believe there was one guy in Crewe who was responsible for choosing all the burled walnut panels that make Rolls-Royce dashboards. The controls have a serious heft to them, and the heavy chrome switches and knobs should be a course of study for any automotive interior designer. A mini console has the controls for the power bucket seats and windows, with everything else neatly grouped in front of the driver. Rolls-Royce used their own six-and-three-quarter litre V8 and gave it adequate horsepower to move this Steal Horse. The result is almost electric-motor smoothness and performance that is, well, adequate. It whispers along at highway speeds and is happy to idle in traffic while occupants are blissfully unaware of the cacophony outside. The automatic transmission is silky smooth and the all-independent suspension offers comfort and reasonable handling. Prestige at an affordable price, this well-maintained Rolls-Royce is a very affordable of previously unobtainable luxury. If you want to feel like a million bucks for a fraction of the price, no other car can do it better. Not to mention the investment possibilities (low miles, well maintained, celebrity owned) Only a couple hundred were made in 1981, and in its overall life time, far few compared to the mass produced and no longer hand made Phantom. Best value for price, insurance and retained value. This car is solid, easy to maintain and timeless. Few people understand it was designed for easy service and maintenance. It is a fast car with great linear acceleration and excellent handling and brakes. It is like sitting in your living room on a long road trip. Additionally, the engine does not require premium fuel. Insurance costs are also very low. So indulge yourself and be parked up front almost every time. You will get more attention in these cars even if they are 20-30 years old. All people know is it's a ROLLS ROYCE. HISTORY / FEATURES OF THE ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SPIRIT/ SPURIntroduced by Rolls-Royce in 1980, the Silver Spirit and Silver Spur were the beginning of a new generation of models for the company. From the Silver Shadow roots, it is a large and handsome car distinguished by four rectangular headlamps set in rectangular frames with wrap-around side and warning lights, (which set the standard for years to come) with greater slope to the windscreen and rear window, an extension forward of the rear bumper on each side, and with slight uplift of the lower rear corners of the rear windows. The somewhat sleeker appearance of the car is accompanied by 30 percent more glass area. The overall length of the car is 207 3/4 inches. The Company offered a long wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit. This car, the Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, is about four inches longer at 211 3/4 inches overall. Induction for the V-8 engine was changed to Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and the compression ratio increases to 8.0:1. Beyond adequate power comes from the Rolls-Royce produced 412 cubic-inch 90 degree V8 with Fuel-injection. The engine crankcase emission control system utilizes a single catalytic converter. From the catalytic converter back the system reverts to dual-exhaust with four silencer boxes (mufflers). Its low North American specification 8.0:1 compression ratio lends to a long service life. Crewe built Rolls-Royce Silver Spurs featured a General Motors Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission manufactured to Rolls-Royce specifications, and blueprinted by Rolls-Royce. The 2.5:1 first-gear ratio with a specially designed torque-converter is unique to Rolls-Royce. Servicing (rebuilding) this transmission can be handled by any transmission shop familiar with General Motors automatic transmissions. Rolls-Royce standard features include * Audio equipment radio * Automatic speed control * Air conditioning system * Power steering * Power dual-system brakes * digital Elapsed time indicator * Power windows * digital Display panel * Engine oil check switch * Fuel and engine oil level indicator * Outside air temperature gauge * MSRP in 1981 starting at over $110,000. The year 2002 marked the last of the Crewe built and engineered Rolls-Royce automobiles and the end of the era of hand made automobiles. The instrument board now features an electronic digital display for time, temperature, speed, elapsed time, road icing and other factors. The leather upholstery is as elegant as ever. A new rear suspension incorporating gas springs, adjusts the ride to the load and aids cornering. This new system had been launched during 1979 on the Corniche and Camargue models. An improved air conditioning system was installed in the new Silver Spirit, which now supplies two climate levels. Additionally, many of the changes behind the development of the new car were due to impending safety legislation. The Spirit of Ecstasy, for example, was no longer fixed to the grille, but designed to retract into the radiator shell upon impact. Overall, only 6,238 Silver Spirit/Spurs were produced from 1980 thru 1989, making this an incredible and rare piece of Rolls-Royce history. ABOUT THE THM400 ROLLS ROYCE TRANSMISSION: The THM400 was one of the most sought after transmissions of its day and is still popular with hot roder's, racer's, and off roader's because of its durability, torque, reliability, and ability to handle huge horsepower. Auto manufacturers that have used the THM400 include Ferrari (in the400/412); Jaguar/Daimler (in pre-1994 XJ12 and XJ-S coupes) and their Daimler stable mates; Rolls-Royce (in 1965–1980 Silver Shadow and 1980-1992 Silver Spirit series cars. Notable vehicles that have also used this bullet proof transmission include The Presidential Limousine used during the Reagan Administration, (a modified 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham) and the United States Army HMMWV, better known as the Hummer H1. Yes, Rolls Royce basically put a Tank transmission in their Automobile! ADDITIONAL INFO: I have included as many photos possible to assist in my description. FAST AND FUN TO DRIVE Over the past 3 years we have sold over 1000 vehicles on ebay and decided that we would take a new approach to the advertising. Let's face it, when you buy a car on ebay the main thing you are lacking is the ability to test drive. Rather than a fancy description we are going to keep it simple. We are going to pair a description of our the car and mechanic evaluation with a video showing walk around to give you a better idea of the condition that photos can do sometimes. These will be based on years of buying vehicles and knowing what to look for when purchasing. Please remember above all that it is IMPOSSIBLE for a used car to be perfect so any seller that doesn't list flaws is just not being thorough, we are taking the guess work out of online buying. Please also remember that we are doing our best to describe them well but if you have a specific question just ask and we will respond promptly. CALL ERIC OR STEVE AT 609-587-1986 WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU THROUGH EVERY STEP! Miracle Autosport is pleased to offer you this 1935 Chevrolet Master Sedan Hot Rod! This car is in stunning shape and is ready for a new owner who just wants to go right out to shows without having projects to finish. This car is done right and runs and drives great. With an all metal body this is a rare find! This color is awesome on the car and the body is in great shape (see the close up pics). These cars are great, everywhere you go people stop and want to check out the ride. I took this in on trade from a collector who always likes to have a few interesting pieces in his garage. He had this one for a while, showed it a bit, took home some trophies, and then his wife wanted a Jaguar so it was time for it to go. If you are looking for a restored piece of history this is not for you, but if what you want is a loud, fast, head turning vintage hot rod.... this Chevy is just the ticket. The body is straight and solid, the undercarriage is free from rot, and the drivetrain runs out great. The interior on this car is in great shape as wel. It even has power window up front and the rears are roll down so you get plenty of wind in your hair. The Kenwood stereo sounds great as well, making this a very drive-able hot rod. We allow test drives; mileage may be slightly more than in the auction. All blemishes or imperfections are taken into consideration in determining our Buy It Now Price. It is the buyers responsibility to read all descriptions and terms & conditions before the end of auction as well as asking any questions or making arrangements for personal inspection if desired. If you have gotten this far, which nobody ever does, please bring this up prior to payment and we will issue a $20 credit on the price of the car. I like my buyers to be informed and that means reading the contents of the ad, that is why we write them! Pre-Owned Cars may or may not contain non-essential accessory items such as floormats, key fobs, spare wheel/tire, tool kits, CD changer cartridges, cosmetic center caps for wheels, booklets or manuals, cigarette lighters or ashtrays, etc...if you are uncertain please ask us! We do not assume responsibility for these items. We do not assume responsibility for eBays VIN Decoder. It is the sole responsibility of the bidding party to confirm any description, option, or feature to their satisfaction before submitting a bid. ****We have been getting a lot of questions regarding our auction format so we wanted to take a moment to explain it to those who are new to ebay motors. The "buy it now or best offer" auction format is beneficial to the buyer and the seller because there is no reason to wait until the last minute to bid on a car. As with most dealers, we select certain vehicles from our inventory and put them ebay. We do not have a lot of employees or a fancy showroom; therefore we can pass the savings to you and offer some of the best prices anywhere. So send us an offer now and we will either accept it, counter it, or decline it. If we counter the offer, you are welcome to accept it or counter back, this process proceeds until the car is sold. Our acceptance is binding so please have your financing ready if you would like to purchase a car. Non-Paying Bidders cost us a great deal of time and money and we employ all recourse that ebay provides to complete a sale. We do accept trade ins but will need to see the vehicle to evaluate it. Please remember this auction will likely NOT last the full duration. As soon as we get an acceptable offer the car will be sold. Using Buy it Now ends the auction immediately. DO NOT WAIT - SUBMIT YOUR BEST OFFERS NOW OR USE BUY IT NOW TO ENSURE YOU ARE A WINNER. DUE TO A STRING OF NON-PAYING BIDDERS ALL FOREIGN BIDDERS MUST E-MAIL US FIRST TO BE ALLOWED TO BID**** We are not responsible for incurring fees on auctions if you misread the description or change your mind Location Our Physical Location is 2214 Nottingham Way Mercerville, NJ 08619 Ad created by eCarList.com. Please read all of the description!!!---all of my ramblings... Hi--- Up for sale is my 1966 Chevrolet Impala 2 door coupe. Affectionately know as the "Batmobile" by my friends and family. I am, (I believe and was told), the third owner. I have been the owner for over 20 years. It was purchased by me in Southern California, where I used to live, from a restaurant owner in Stanton CA. He purchased the car from his neighbor. She, the original owner, was an old lady (yeah I know the cliché).....He had been bugging her to sell him the car for many years. As she couldn't drive anymore, and the car was just sitting for years, the family pressured her to sell, and he finally got his way. However, his plans changed and he didn't keep the car too long, as he had another project car his wife wanted finished. Hence, that is where I came in---the buyer. I wanted an Impala. Bad. I wanted a 65 though. That was what a friend of mine had in high school. SO---I must have looked and test driven dozens of 1965 Impalas. Everything from basket cases to what was called "great shape". What a mess. Remember 20 years ago I was calling newspaper ads up and down the state. I changed my mind to a 1966, after looking at one, when a guy advertised his "1966" as really a "1965". SORRY HATERS---but I thought it looked better inside, and finished better outside in the hood area and the sleeker designed rear end. So---now I hunted 1966's. What another mess of beaten down cars. No wonder so many were crushed. 20 years ago, there wasn't anyone really doing "restorations on Impalas", as I didn't come across anything like you see on TV now......(like the Fast and Loud guys getting $75k for theirs??? ) I looked at everything I could find for 6 months. Frustrated at looking at worn out beaters, I called this guy in Stanton to go look at his 66. I was reluctant to go look at it---as it was a 4 speed. I was looking for an automatic. I bought the car after the test drive. He didn't baby the car, as EVERYONE ELSE did on the test drives. He blasted through the gears, and the big car actually felt like it had loads of power. 4th gear chirp! I had a grin on my face for sure. Deal was done. At that point all I can tell you is---even if you don't buy my car is---POWERGLIDES suck. (Sure modern day mega dollar drag racers....blah, blah, blah....) They suck. Feels like they never are going to shift, and the power band is never right place for the torque curve. Sure modify this or change that out etc......(I know I am opening up a can of worms for all powerglide lovers to msg me--------save your effort) I can honestly say that with the 4 speed manual transmission, there is nothing like the way the engine sounds after you unload the clutch. Downshifting---pure magic. The sound is nothing---and I mean nothing an automatic or powerglide will ever have........No matter what you do to it-----never have the sound!!! So I guess before I go into my car's description, I will just say, my car is a base 2 door Impala, BUT it has the magical RARE clutch pedal. Seems there just isn't many left after the zillions of Impalas they made. At least unless you find the needle in the haystack 427 or 396 optioned with a 4 speed, then you are on the route to automatic-land. As I am not advertising my car as any type of drag car---by any means---I can understand why coveted performance cars of the 1960's are 4 speeds. They were faster then. And I can honestly say that they make my little motor seem a whole lot bigger and perkier. Almost fast. Also, if you are going to do a motor swap on my car---what a better tranny to have than a great 4 speed Muncie. This car also has a black interior. NOT crappy baby blue or red. Best part is----the no guilt complex for modifying this base car. Ok. Now on to the details. Mechanicals: The car has a rebuilt 283 V8 from the previous owner. Perky. Not a drag racer. You wont be beating STI's at the light. Runs super nice. Starts right up. I have done a few things to it. Edlebrock---gear drive, cover, cam, water pump, valve covers, intake manifold. HEI. Mallory ignition modules, cap, and wiring. New Holly electric choke carb. Chrome goodies. New power steering pump. New alternator. New starter. Hoses, belts, brackets etc. Radiator redone. New Wiper motor. Optima battery. Esoteric fuses, wiring, loom. (The wiring looks really sano in the engine bay) Fluidampner. ARP bolt kit. Very sweet ceramic headers with the flanges cut and rotated for clearance. Glass packs and tubing. I do still have the original CA smog pump, brackets, and etc. The car has what I believe to be about 66k original miles. The speedometer broke on the drive from CA to UTAH. Yes!!! I drove it all the way---no trailer!!! NO PROBLEMS. So the mileage is plus a few hundred---may be a thousand from the pictures. I really haven't driven it that much up here, really in 20 years. I didn't even register it until this year from CA. I have been in Utah 5 years. Tranny is not from the original car. It was a 3 speed on the column. It is now a 4 speed Muncie close ratio on the floor with a Hurst shifter boot. I had the tranny rebuilt at Anaheim Gear. Fullerton Transmission did the install. New Centerforce dual friction racing clutch. Throw out bearing. Fork. Pressure plate. Flywheel. Etc. Rebuilt drive shaft. Rebuilt rear end. Bee-line did the suspension. All new Red urethane or Black graphite bushings throughout. Ball joints etc. Everything. NOS big block springs up front cut, and NOS big block station wagon cut springs in the rear for stiffness. KYB shocks. Lots of time was spent on getting the stance and rake of the car perfect. The coils were cut many times to get it just right---correctly. New drum brakes, lines, and fluid. Stops surprisingly good and very straight. VERY, VERY, VERY, RARE Racing Dynamics forged aluminum racing wheels. 18x9 all around. Very expensive wheels. $1500 each one. I had to have them. I loved watching touring cup racing. These are not made anymore and make this car a ONE OF A KIND SHOWPIECE. They were only made for BMW's and BMW race cars. Billet adapters were machined for the fronts to make them clear the grease cups. They fit perfect and there was no need to cut or modify the wheel wells. You will never see another Impala ever with these wheels. Tires are basically new. Bought for the CA trip. This big car handles very well around corners. It really does stick like glue. Very fun to drive fast. Body: As you can see from the pictures, much has been modified. Lots of holes welded. There is no trim left, and on 1966's there was a ton. The paint is now black Imron. It was originally the pale yellow. Lots of block sanding. The car does have rust now. Not horrible, but it does have spots and bubbles (see pictures). It does have dents and dings now. Hood dented. The trunk pan has been fiber glassed. The car does look great, but make no mistake, close up it does deserve a new paint job. Please see pictures. Glass is good-not new. Car is tinted. Fade front to rear dark by Dr. Detail in Costa Mesa. Had passenger mirror, fell off on trip from CA---was a good laugh. Have extra bumper---front and rear, extra front clip, and extra hood. I spent many trips at Memory Lane Junk Yard. Have some extra trim pieces. See pictures. If you want museum piece---the bodywork will need love. This car has never had Hydraulics or cut frame. As far as I can tell perfectly straight underneath. Interior: Original. ALL original. Couple tears on rear seats. Fronts good. Carpet good. Nothing inside is perfect, but clean and acceptable. Dash pad cracked. See pictures. Adjuster needs work. New seat belt set (rear not installed yet). Many new trim pieces. New OEM screw kit. Switches. No glove. New shifter boot. RARE MOMO Daytona four leather and carbon fiber steering wheel. Headliner pretty much gone. Interior lighting works. Full Clifford alarm system. PDL. Radar. Headlights. Flashers. Backup batt. Shock. Door pins. Trunk and hood. Loaded. Heater works great. Wipers work. Many seals and bumpers replaced (some still not installed yet). Trim and cranks. All other lights work great. Issues: Speedometer. Gas guage. Radio. Interior-as discussed. Left turn signal. Horn. Paint and body. Bumper dents. Leaks minimal oil (tiny). Worn steering box. It also has scrapes on bottom of car from being lowered. There is no suspect motivation for selling. I am selling with a clean conscience. Any additional questions concerns just let me know. If you are close, come up for a test drive. Well go for a nice scenic drive. I wont baby it. I have a lot of extra parts as seen in the pictures, and a bunch of boxes of parts not pictured, so you will need a way to get those home too. All manuals, books, receipts, cd rom, and documentation ---all items and parts in pictures go with the car. THIS IS A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS IN FREE BONUS PARTS! Parts aren't cheap and easy to find. There aren't any cars listed usually with extra parts. Please consider this. Any questions ask. The title is clean and in my name ready to go. This car is also listed locally. So the car sells, I will pull it from Ebay. Otherwise it is available. If you are the winning buyer, I expect FULL payment within 7 days (even if you cant make it to me to pick up). $500 deposit by PAYPAL within 3 days. I can hold onto the car reasonably longer. I know we will have to coordinate. We can discuss. It really just sits in the garage. Payment can be by PAYPAL, or cash only. We have banks here in old "Podunk" Cedar City Utah, so pulling your money out shouldn't be a problem. We will do the money transaction at the bank in front of a teller. If there is any other situation ask me BEFORE bidding. If you are not present, and I am dealing with a shipper, NO CAR OR TITLE unless your funds have cleared. I have dealt with transporters before. Shouldn't be a problem. Not sob stories. You can just drive it as-is. You can restore it later down the road. Enjoy it now. It isn't an un-running dream project that will just sit in your garage. Remember it "aint no fun if the car doesn't run"...............this car runs. This car is fun to drive, even for ice cream trips or whatever. Especially with all the windows down. You WILL get waves, thumbs ups, stares, looks, people pulling up next to you, picture takers etc.....This car will make you basically a celebrity. You wont be able to go to any store without someone coming up to you and starting a conversation. This car seems to appeal to kids---all the way to old people. Many will tell you of stories of owning, or someone in the family, or whatever owning one. Funny---the stories they tell you never get old. This model was one of the highest selling Chevrolets of all times, yet you just don't see many of them ever driving around. People will talk to you, strangers of all sorts become friendly. If you aren't married this car will get you there, or at least a date.....This "Batmobile" has huge presence and is just a magnet for people. And even though it is far from perfect, no one seems to care. They just love the car. It just looks sweet. As a perfect example-----in expectation for selling the car, I put it in The Las Vegas Desert Cruzers car show last weekend and took home a third place trophy in the modified class. I was against a mondo amount of perfect cars with tens of thousands of dollars sunk into them. Didn't matter. Tons of money in the wrong car gets you nowhere. The point being is my 1966 Impala has the look. It looks great. It looks mean. Looks mysterious. It looks like no other Impala. My "Batmobile" would look great in your garage..... Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!!

It carries a lot of design cues from its square Thunderbird relative, but the larger coupe gets a few distinctive round touches such as the c-pillar, and arched tail-fins that run the entire back half of the car. The new aggressive styling features quad headlights, and for this year only, a hood scoop. The performance image of this coupe is enhanced even further with GT wheels borrowed from Ford's muscle car era. Because this is a top-of-the-line Fairlane 500 model, the amount of chrome on this car can just about be described in acres even the headlights have a hint of shine! The most impressive piece of this brightwork is the special chrome strip that runs the length of the car and contains a gold insert. In fact, the color was tailored to this unique design cue. The original light green in this two tone paint was traded in for burnt orange, and the effect of the gold accents separating the white and now-ginger colors makes this feel like a desert sunset. Owning a cool looking cruiser means a matching interior. What is particularly impressive with this Fairlane is that when the exterior color was changed, the interior was revamped to match so nicely. This coordination includes the carpets, dash, steering wheel, and the seats. The front and rear vinyl/cloth benches are so comfortable that this Fairlane is perfect to carry the whole family, or even to a double date to the drive-in like the old times. Everything inside is just like a time capsule, right down to the 500 model's standard electric clock and the heater/defrost controls. One piece that is not original, but absolutely necessary, is an aftermarket gauge cluster mounted under the dash that gives vital car info on the oil pressure, battery, and engine temperature. Overall, the feeling of a hardtop coupe is a wonderful thing. You can roll down all the windows giving you that big open space without a b-pillar. It's a place where the wind flows through your hair like a convertible, and in a car like this, the dual exhaust gets to be your best soundtrack. Under the hood is a correct "C" code 292 cubic inch V8. Straight from the factory this motor came with a Holly two barrel carburetor. In this coupe it is dressed nicely with Thunderbird valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. This is mated to a three-speed manual transmission (friends who have never seen 'three on the tree' will be amazed and ask plenty of questions about why you can shift a column-mounted gear selector). The final touch on this car are the Winston Winner GT tires. They have the kind of vintage look that makes you feel like you are on Thunder Road, but in reality, it's modern rubber that gives the car a better ride and improved grip in all weather. This classic cruiser is everything you want from the 1950s big, chrome, and cool. All of this at an affordable price means this Fairlane 500 Crown Victoria won't last long. Finished out trunk. Battery mounted in the trunk w/cut-off Underneath is super clean, as is the whole car “Yesterday’s look with todays technology” This 1957 Chevy Custom is an iconic street rod that has been frame off restored and retrofitted with some modern performance components. The Viper red paint glistens from top to bottom and the undercarriage looks as clean as the top of the car. The car is responsive and quick thanks to ZZ4 350ci Crate Motor, the power steering and brakes make maneuverability a cinch. The restoration on this awesome '57, began when the car was stripped down to a bare frame and body and then media blasted to remove all of the original coatings. The frame was redone in gloss black and the body was finished in Viper Red base/clear paint job. The paint was then wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. The original stainless has been polished out and all of the chrome is new from front to rear. The car has a stance that is to die for. Making it all happen are a set of 2" dropped spindles and lowering springs up front, 3" lowering blocks in the rear and 18" and 20" Koys wheels. The wheels are wrapped in modern performance tires that provide excellent handling without the slop of bias ply tires.. Another contributing factor to the smooth driving nature of this Chevrolet is the power steering system. The engine sits in a beautifully finished and very nicely organized compartment featuring a Chevy ZZ4 350 crate engine equipped with Holly Carb. The motor is extremely responsive, never cold-natured and everything you expect from a modern engine. The system uses a throttle body type set up which keeps that old-school look. An MSD ignition system provides a large and reliable spark and a Vintage Air front runner system drives the engine accessories. Exhaust flows through a set of ceramic coated headers and a exhaust system producing an excellent exhaust note. The transmission is a modern 700R4 w/Overdrive unit which is a blast to row through the gears. The car uses a very streetable performance “Saturday Night Special” shift kit and the rear end gear is a 4.10 The interior is a mild custom job with all new soft parts and refinished or new hard parts. A modern radio plays the tunes and there is a Vintage AC system to keep you cool in the summer weather complete with all new heating components for cooler temps. The original gauges were preserved with the addition of a tempature guage. If you are looking for a killer 1957 Chevy with all of the latest upgrades that is ready to drive and enjoy now, look no further than this awesome classic. Please take a moment to read the detailed listing, look over the 100 extra-large detailed photos, and then call me to make it yours before someone else does it first! THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, AND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE. DESCRIPTION Whoever gets this incredible show truck will be carrying on a legacy of some of the industry’s best who have owned, built, and modified her along the way, including the original visionary builder, Graphic Disorders Brandt Fuqua, and Negative Cambers “Chico” Shaw! With builders like this involved, there is NO DOUBT why this machine is the trophy winning monster it is! While Chico changed things around in the appearance department from when Brandt first built it, the core of the truck remains the same, and consists of some of the most progressive, well-executed customization found in a mini truck. Here is the rundown: Chassis Modifications Suspension type: Airbags Front suspension: Scotts Hot Rods Mustang II Rear suspension: Corvette IRS, shortened 5 inches per side Airbag type: Air Lift Control Arms: Mustang II Spindles/springs: Mustang II Shocks: Toxic Valves: GC 450s Compressors: Two Viair 380s Air/hydro accessories: Nine-switch box Frame mods: Full custom chassis, nothing left factory, smoothed and painted to a show finish. This is how we got the truck, sans a quick wipe down with Turtle Wax quickshine, and a vacuum of the interior! Just imagine how freaking amazing it will look when you take the time to lay it out when you get it home!?!?!?!?! There are a handful or so really tiny marks on the painted finish from normal driving, like stone chips and stuff, but nothing major whatsoever. The body work is incredible, and shows like it was just rolled out of the shop! It starts with ease, idles so clean and cool that you’ll find yourself starting it just to hear it run! Power is plentiful and throttle response feels instantaneous, so know where you are going before you unleash the 383 Stroker motor!!! It runs cool, stays cool, and didn’t even flinch when I got stuck in beach traffic on a 80 degree day a few weeks ago (I know, Florida weather sucks) on the way to a cruise night. Ride is really good thanks to the high dollar components that went into the suspension system, and the professional build by 3DKustoms. Everything about the truck is show-ready, and show quality, and it snaps necks like a chicken farmer when you cruise it down the street. All 9 switches for the air-ride work as they should, and everything happens quickly, so you can slam it at a red light, and air up to roll out. Every nook and cranny has been touched, customized, or otherwise massaged on this machine, and it is definitely NOT some back-yard built machine! Pro level work, pro level components, and pro level finish out all the way separate this one from the pack. You can drive and show it as it is, or tweak it out to make it your own if you want, but either way, you couldn’t POSSIBLY build this level of machine from scratch for what you can buy this one for! In the area? Come see it. If not, fly down here for a personal showing! I am willing to bet that the first person who comes here to see the truck in person will buy it. MILEAGE IS EXEMPT ON THE TITLE The title is in the dealerships name, and this is NOT a consignment car. It is ready for transfer to the next owner, and we will export sale as well. THANK YOU.1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Custom -- $38,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’m a regular consignor at the Mecum auctions as well. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! Two years ago I opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public on Saturdays. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. We except all trades. If you’d like to be added to our VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like us on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 38 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. Description1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Shelby GT350 Custom THIS CAR HAS SERIOUS EYE BALLS! Original J-code exterior color (Rangoon Red)! Original 25-code trim (Red Vinyl w/red trim)! Original C-code car (289 V8)! Complete and professional show worthy restoration! This car has exchanged a few hands over the years and I don’t have documentation to support when the restoration was completed or what exactly was done. With my 15+ years’ experience I can describe everything I’ve learned about the car and my opinions. The car was originally ordered from DSO 11 which is Boston, MA. From what I’ve gathered the car has spent its entire life in New England! The exterior of this car is beautiful and attracts a ton of attention wherever it is. The body is very straight and the gaps are good. In my opinion most of the sheet metal appears to be original or OEM sheet metal was used during the restoration. The hood, doors and trunk open and close very nicely. The exterior was originally Rangoon Red as the door tag indicates and was repainted Red. The paint on this car is definitely show quality. It obviously was done professionally and wet sanded and buffed. The white stripes were laid very nicely and make the red paint “POP”! Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced. Some of these items include the wiper arms, driver’s side cobra style mirror, lights, grill, bumpers, stainless trim, door handles, gas cap and emblems. I recently had the front windshield replaced and all the other glass appears to be original and in nice condition! The car sits on era correct gray Torque Thrust 14” wheels that have Cobra center caps. The BF Goodrich radial T/A’s are 205-70-15 on the front and 225-70-14 on the rear. These tires give the car a very comfortable ride! The red interior is also beautiful and complements the exterior perfectly. The original interior trim code was #25 which was red vinyl with red trim. The headliner is white which really puts the icing on the cake! Everything in the interior has been restored or replaced. Some of these items include the dash pad, dash cluster, gauges, Shelby gauge cluster, wood steering wheel, wood shift handle, door panels and hardware, seats, seat belts, carpet and custom carpeted floor mats. It has a modern Custom Autosound stereo with upgraded kicker panel speakers. Everything in the interior works as it should! The trunk compartment is nicely detailed with the original style trunk mat are spare tire cover! ***It does have a spare tire but it’s not a matching wheel.*** The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the built 289 V8 engine. This engine starts immediately and runs EXCELLENT! This engine was professionally rebuilt and has some serious snap for a small block. Some of the upgrades include Windsor heads, KB pistons, Crane Cam shaft, SS valves, springs and valves, Edlebrock Performer Intake, Holly 750 carburetor, Cobra Valve covers, chrome air cleaner, Motor craft oil filter, Fireball ignition and Moroso Blue Max wires. It has a correct Autolite battery. I’ve driven this car on multiple occasions totaling roughly 25 miles and it was some serious fun! The engine breathes though factory Hi-Po style headers and custom Flow Master exhaust system. It sounds really sweet especially when you jump on the gas pedal! The engine is coupled to a rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission that shifts smoothly! The undercarriage is very clean and presents itself well. Everything under the car has been restored or replaced. It has some upgrades including SSBC front disc brakes with red calipers and KYB shocks! Recent service work that has been performed over the last year includes a complete tune-up, rebuilt carburetor, transmission service, rear end service, new radiator and new rear wheel cylinder! This vehicle has received a complete classic car detail by MS CLASSIC CARS valued at $400.00! “As my website and email address indicates I’m a huge Mustang enthusiast. I’ve collected and sold many beautiful first generation Mustangs. Some of the notable ones include the first 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback “Eleanor” ever built, a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback “Testbed Terror” which was the documented test car for “Eleanor” and a 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350SR that was one of four built. The car your about to witness has serious eye balls and is a blast to drive. I’ve driven this car on multiple occasions totaling roughly 25 miles and it was some serious fun! The body is very straight and the paint job is beautiful. The red with white stripes really “POPS”! The red interior is like new. The engine starts immediately and sounds great. This car packs a punch and drives straight down the road with no rattles. This is the perfect classic car for someone who wants a really nice driver. This car wasn’t built to be a high end trailered show car. It was built to enjoy. If you’ve been looking for a really nice but affordable first generation Mustang Fastback you’ve met your match. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – the owner Inspection Report"Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what's being advertised for sale. We’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 250 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that ALL the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear were not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchases all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answers all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited myr website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I'lll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Thank you for the opportunity! "Why buy from MS Classic Cars? 1024x768 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE What makes MS CLASSIC CARS different from other classic car dealers and from vehicles being marketed privately on the market for sale? * Each vehicle has been hand picked by the owner Marc Schiliro * NO CONSIGNMENTS. I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. There were only 5807 built that year compared to 90-100 thousand built in earlier years. I have owned this care for the last 27 has never been beat on! When I bought the car it did not have the original engine in it. I rebuilt a 1963 Chevy 327ci 300 hp engine and installed it without cutting or hacking the \\\"k\\\" frame. If you wanted you may drop a Pontiac engine back in without any hassles. This car is very solid and has no body filler except in spots when the paint was done. The rear quarters and front fenders are all new when the car was restored about 25 years ago and have zero rot. There are some areas in the paint that have bubbles or pealed over the years and at some point you may want to repaint the car. The front window has a crack and I believe will need to be replace. Legal for sale in Canada! This Cobra is a professionally built turn-key replica (ERA #430) of a 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C. Built by renowned engineer and motorsports expert Dan Fodge in Rancho Cordova, CA. This award wining replica is the appropriate international American racing colors, blue and white. It is true to all original Cobra specifications with the exception of specific items where safety and performance were priorities. It is well known that ERA Cobras are in demand over other replica brands because of their exceptional quality. You can see this exceptional Cobra at www.eracobraforsale.com - Engine is a bored and stroked to 6.0 L heavy duty 351 Ford Racing/SVO Windsor block with 4-Bolt Mains and every other part being completely special purpose-built for high performance and durability. It has a Steel Billet crankshaft and all of the pistons, rods, camshaft, lifters, push-rods, valves, aluminum heads, etc., etc., are all the best available. It has the latest Holly Racing carburetor that is basically a special "racing" version of their 750cfm but with enhanced performance and airflow. The complete ignition system is top notch with all Mallory & MSD parts. The investment in this engine/transmission alone is around $25,000. Horsepower is approximately 500hp. Equipped with a remote oil filter as well as an appropriate oil cooler. The engine is equipped with a 450-Shot Sportsman Fogger Nitrous system (wet system, port injection) that was installed just for the WOW factor and has never been used while driving, only to tune the system. By using smaller jets in the injectors for the Nitrous system the current available Horsepower is limited to only an additional 150 but if anybody is crazy enough to drive a 2200lb car with 950hp, then this can be easily done. The car will take it. All of the critical hoses and even some not so critical are aircraft quality stainless-steel braided hose, with Earl’s fittings, not just look-alikes. Headers and side-pipes are Jet Hot coated inside and out. ENGINE SPECS: 351 HD Ford Racing/SVO Windsor block w/4-bolt mains, bored & stroked to 6.0L. Line bored, balanced/blueprinted. More HP than a overweight big block.Complete Crane valve-train - camshaft, hydraulic roller lifters, push-rods, springs & keepers, roller rocker armsDart Aluminum Heads - ported/polished/cc’ed complete race valve jobCrower Lower End - Steel billet crankshaft and Crower’s billet I-beam rodsCanton dual sump pan w/ dual pickupsMcLeod Racing - bell housing, flywheel, complete race clutch assembly, hydraulic actuator, throw-out & pilot bearingsMcLeod Racing - High Performance Heavy Duty StarterMallory electronic & MSD ignitionHigh performance water pumpCustom mounted 427-like manifold-mounted chrome remote radiator tankPolished Weiand port-matched intake manifold with Holly 750 race carburetorRemote oil filter in series with correct oil coolerAll braided stainless steel best-quality hoses and Earl’s connectorsEngine is equipped with a 450-shot Pro-Fogger NOS direct port wet system. Complete professional installation that has been de-tuned by using smaller jets at each port to provide only 150hp increase. The larger jets (included) along with proper adjustment of the fuel regulator will allow for as much as a 450hp increase over the normally aspirated induction. All documentation is included. The system has only been run once in the shop, not on the road, to do the initial tune. - In the spirit of using better parts where performance is concerned, the car is equipped with a Tremec 5-speed transmission (with a modified original shifter) which is infinitely better than the old Ford Toploader that Shelby used. Fifth gear is a .80 overdrive which keeps RPMs low on the highways which provides remarkably good gas mileage. In addition to front mounted original replacement cooling fans, the correctly slanted radiator (unlike many other replicas) has a 16" radiator-mounted pull-through fan that further improves cooling. The top of the line Optima RedTop Gel-Cell battery is mounted on the shelf in the trunk on the passenger side for better balance. - Frame, Body (exact replica in fiberglass) and Suspension are from ERA, the best reproduction parts provider, period. I have personally met and spoken frequently to Peter, the president of the company, and they have been the best at answering any questions and providing any help required. Other parts are from Cobra Restorers, and are exact replacements for the original car. The chrome oval front grill piece is removable if desired. The ERA frame is noted for being much stiffer than other replica Cobras. The as-original aluminum hood scoop is not molded into the hood but properly mounted, not with pop-rivets. The car was assembled properly by a professional racing engineer & motorsports expert. - The suspension is comprised of dual A-Frames in the front with Alden Aluminum chromed coil-over shocks and a substantial anti-sway bar. The rear is equipped with two Alden Aluminum chromed coil-over shocks at each wheel and has a full independent suspension with special super-duty half-shafts, sway bar and inboard rear brakes. The Center Section of the rear end is a Salisbury posi-traction unit as original, but equipped with Richmond Gears for strength and durability. The trailing arms and hub mounts are custom made. Wheels are 6-Pin-drive with original real knock-off hubs. The car weighs 2200 lbs. and with this suspension system and the lighter engine it handles much better than an original Cobra. - Front brakes were replaced after the initial build with 4-piston Sierra calipers and 13" discs. The same that many race cars use. In order to accommodate the much larger brakes, the original wheels were replaced with exact copies but manufactured as a true 17" wheel to both accommodate the larger brakes AND to take advantage of more modern tires to both improve safety and performance. Front tires are 275/45-17s and the rears are 315/35-17s. This combination provides the same tire diameter front and rear but provides a much wider tire at the rear to improve acceleration traction. Rear tires are 13" wide where the fronts are 10". This car rides and handles exceptionally well. - Even little things like the Headlights; lead crystal lenses with high intensity halogen bulbs! The steering wheel is an original item with the Shelby touch of one/half the number of rivets holding the real wood to the aluminum wheel. Seats are real leather. The driver’s seat, which is mounted on adjustable rails at first glance appears to be original, is custom made with extra bolsters to provide more comfort, back support and help hold the driver in place along with the 5-point Simpson harnesses. It has all of the hardware to accommodate an original soft top & side curtains and already has the appropriate tonneau cover. Original driver’s seat is included. Custom fitted full car cover included. - Overall investment in the car to date is $105,000. The original build was $95K and over the years there have been upgrades. Will accept reasonable offers that still reflect/recognize the quality of this car as compared to other replicas. - Credentials: Won 9 trophies for Best-in-Class at regional car shows and 2 Overall Peoples’ Choice awards at two major shows. Also won First runner-up twice in the Sports Car division (350 cars) at one of the nation’s top car shows, Hot August Nights in Reno. - The most frequent question I get asked, after this car has been viewed by 1,000s of people, is an enthusiastic: "Is this a REAL Cobra?". I always feel bad when I have to disappoint them and tell them it is a replica. Park this car next to any available replica and it is clear why folks think it is a "REAL Cobra". Check out the full description at eracobraforsale.com which links back to this listing. More info and Video available on site. First time this ERA#430 has been offered for sale. Professionally built in 1995. Registered and Insured in the State of Nevada. Owner has clear title in possession as well as the official DMV paperwork of the registration history.
