1969 (listed as 1970 on title) F100 Ranger, "Screaming Chicken, Speed Shop" shop truck, clear coated worn orange paint, then rubbed back with 3000 grit to get the protected dull/matt finish. It gets looks, comments and thumbs up everywhere we go in it, it's a classic shop truck with old school hand lettering & pin striping on the doors, tail gate ready to drive anywhere, nothing to do, just enjoy. No rattles, no squeaks, stable on the road, sits at 80mph all day long, very solid and comfortable truck. This is a comprehensive Resto Mod, I just drove to the Talladega NASCAR races and back to Peoria IL as a shakedown drive. 100% reliable, all parts gone through and reco/rebuilt or replaced with new. 99% rust free, California truck (very small bubbles in bottom of door skins and roof gutter only). Door skin patch panels included in sale. Floors/rockers/frame/bed etc solid and no rust. 2004 Crown Victoria front cross member, upgraded with big brakes, new slotted and grooved rotors & ceramic pads, big sway bar. Rebuilt 1996 Ford fuel injected 5.0L, Was rebuilt before I bought it, runs strong, no smoke and does not use oil, very solid engine. GT40P heads, std bore, BBK headers, runs strong estimated 290-300hp based on engine build components. Exhaust is a modified Mustang exhaust, it has a nice loud rumble, sounds great, but looks a little rough, it has also developed a small leak at the flange gasket on the shakedown drive but it's hardly noticeable at the moment. Rebuilt AOD overdrive & new 2000rpm torque converter, shift kit, receipts for work. Rebuilt Ford 9 inch, from a 1979 F100 so it's the same width as the Crown Victoria track, slotted and grooved disc brake conversion with ceramic pads, new Strange 31 spline axles, highway 2.75 :1 ratio, gives great fuel mileage, currently getting 14.5 mpg based on GPS mileage and gals put in, receipts for work. New suspension all round, new QA1 adjustable ride & height coil overs on the front, new leaf springs from St Louis Springs in MO on the rear with new QA1 adjustable ride shocks on the rear. 1996 Ford Explorer 1" rear sway bar, new bushing rubbers, lowered about 6" from standard height. due to axle flip and lowering shackles. Receipts. New Nitto 555 Tires, 245/45-18 & 295/45-18 on brand new 8 x 18 & 10 x 18 on 2010 Mustang wheels in dark stainless, perfect condition, just about 100% tread left, only driven for a couple of months and one big trip from Illinois to Alabama and back. Receipts Interior mostly complete but no headliner. There is a new Ranger dash surround, all gauges and speedo work. Dash mat is cracked, but not too bad, seat has a couple of tears as well, but is covered with the seat cover. Dynamatt extreme on the floor. New "Retro Sound" radio with Bluetooth & dual cone speaker, connects to your iPhone, also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB connection that charges your phone. Inside the cab is nice, but a little more $$ spent and it would be great. All external chrome was Powder Coated in "dark stainless", bumpers, door handles, grill etc, everything chrome is now "Dark Stainless", color its the same color as the wheels. 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe coupe hot rod/street rod. 350 Chevy basic crate engine, 350 turbo transmission, 10 bolt GM rear end, Mustang II front end, power steering. Power brakes - disc front, drum rear. Aluminum radiator. Has a heater but no A/C. Appears to have a Jeep Cherokee tilt steering column, AM/FM/CD. This is an unfinished driver that can be finished your way or taken to the next level. It's not a high end show car, but it looks very good overall. Has a few rock chips, scratches and minor paint flaws, nothing major. Very straight all original steel body including fenders and running boards. Starts right up, runs and drives great. All lights and gauges work. There are a lot of pictures, look them over and ask any questions you might have. The previous owner (builder) was on the upholstery shop waiting list for new gray cloth inserts in the seats and a new headliner, but never came to the top of the list. So, there is no headliner installed but it's ready for one, and the seats still have a terrible looking cloth insert. It had all new glass, but the drivers door window has a crack. I just bought this car a few days ago (July 13th) with full intentions of finishing it and driving it, but as is always the case, I found the '37 I really wanted the next day. I can't have both, so this one has to go. Odometer shows 1130 miles. I've only driven it about 20 miles, so I can't tell you much about gas mileage and that sort of thing except what the previous owner told me. The paint is a dark green metallic base coat/clear coat, but I don't have the code. I'm sure I can get it. I don't know the rear end gear ratio, but I'll try to find that out, too. Feels like it's probably around 3 to 1. As for the other unfinished stuff, there are no seat belts and no windshield wipers installed yet. That's all that is needed for it to be a great daily driver or cruise-in car. There are no prop rods for the trunk. Comes with a stick. And there's no prop rods for the hood. Also comes with a stick. Email any questons and I'll do my best to answer them or provide more pictures if you need them. It's not perfect, but it's a really nice car for the price. Car is sold as-is, as-shown. This is not a rusted out hulk or tubbed racer returned to factory configuration. I believe only a small segment of the drivers side floor and the core support have been replaced. Very nice job on both. Correct Four Speed Close ratio transmission RUG-AE2 Replaced with Hurst “Competition plus” unit. Original unit goes with car. Engine is build to stock with the correct CJ intake manifold and exhaust manifold. Carburator is the correct service replacement. Fender aprons match dash and door serials Lots of date codes sheet metal Paint is very nice but not perfect (9/10?) Interior is mostly new Engine is correct date code and VIN marked (I have no reason to believe its not original) Transmission is correct RUG A2 model but I do not see a visible VIN Third member is date code correct 9”. “N” is not present in the casting as many CJs did not have the N in many units. It is a verified nodular big bearing unit setup professionally with the 3.25 R&P set. The axles are correct original 31 splines. Non power steering car. Headlights, tach, signals, lights are all functioning properly. Radio has been replaced with a classic auto sound unit with AUX-in for modern sound. A Philco AM unit goes with car, but I do not believe this is the correct radio for this model & year. Undercarriage is clean and restored. Floorpans are painted black and are very original being a southern car. It has an 11" clutch, Lakewood bell housing, and Muncie M-20 4 speed with a Hurst Competition Plus shifter. 10 bolt posi rear end with 3.55 gears. Power steering, power brakes. Disk brakes on the front, drum on the rear. Heavy duty front sway bar, UMI adjustable rear control arms. AutoMeter gauges. CD player with external amp. The body is finished in House of Kolor Sonic blue with white stripes on the cowl induction hood. 99% new stainless and chrome trim. American Racing 17" chrome wheels with like new BFGoodrich tires. Excellent running car that's a pleasure to drive. Car is mechanically sound, solid and very reliable. It's a driver, not a $35K show car, but it still looks good enough to win trophies at the local shows and draw a crowd at the cruise-ins. Odometer shows about 76,500. It could be right, but I doubt it. It's not an economy car, but for those who worry about such things it averaged 16MPG on a recent 500 mile + road trip. No oil consumption. It does need premium gas. No, it's not a "real" SS. It's actually not a real El Camino, it's just badged that way. It's titled as a GMC Sprint (GMC version of the El Camino).
