Nearly every major car club has a survivor category, and the prices of credible survivors continue to climb. That's an understandable trend, considering anyone can restore a car but the factory only bolts it together once. This 34,682-mile Dodge is a mostly-original survivor in the best of ways. Not only is it an ultra-clean, unrestored example of one of the coolest pony cars to ever leave Detroit, it's 1 of only 733 1970 Challenger R/T SE hardtops fitted with Chrysler's legendary 440/3-speed drivetrain. A highly authentic, numbers-matching car that's packed with many desirable options, it's 1 of 50 440/3-speed Challenger R/T SE hardtops listed in Galen's Registry. And, whether you're looking for a unique MoPar to bolster your collection or just want a fun cruiser to enjoy on sunny summer weekends, it's your documented ticket to a glorious, octane-fueled past! BODYWORK/TRIM Wearing lines that originated on Chrysler designer Carl Cameron's famous Charger Turbine Concept, this classic makes a distinct styling statement from virtually every angle. Born in Los Angeles, California, the car has been exceptionally maintained by fastidious owners for close to 46 years. Its mostly original sheetmetal, a characteristical profile that's been supplemented with a new passenger's fender, reflects vivid Sublime single-stage that easily glorifies Chrysler's Hi Impact Pigment marketing. A black hood stripe, white side stripes and a tight vinyl roof highlight original brightwork. And, as far as we can tell, this coupe has never been fully disassembled, with the aforementioned owners choosing to wear the car's weathering as a badge of honor. ENGINE Lift this Dodge's broad hood and you'll find an original, 440 cubic inch RB V8 that follows a correct 2536480 casting number and October 27th of 1969 casting date with a matching partial VIN. More popular than Chrysler's famed Hemi, Dodge's stalwart 440 Magnum was designed to be the industry's best combination of comfort, streetability and big block performance. Oxygen whips from a dressed and decaled air cleaner to a big Carter carburetor, which rides on a factory-spec intake. At the front of that intake, a familiar points distributor sequences spark between an Echlin voltage regulator and pliable Mopar Suppression Cables. At the sides of those cables, Hemi Orange valve covers perfectly contrast old school exhaust manifolds. Cooling comes courtesy of a Chrysler-branded radiator, which rides in front of Mopar-branded hoses and simple squeeze clamps. And a stalwart MoPar red cap kicks everything in to motion. Aesthetically, the bright engine bay presents as expected, from its correct markings and Hi Impact fenders all the way to its old school fluid reservoir and Satin Black brake booster. And details like factory air conditioning are present and accounted for. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION By 1970, most street racers knew that an automatic transmission wasn't necessarily a performance handicap. And today, these proven gearboxes consistently pull down numbers that are just as fast, or faster, than the best row-it-yourself strip warriors. Behind this Challenger's big V8 you'll find an original A727 TorqueFlite that hangs a matching partial VIN opposite a correct assembly stamp. Naturally, that high performance drivetrain feeds a proven 8.75-inch rear end. That rear end rolls on a factory-spec suspension that's fitted with lucid power steering. Exhaust travels through fresh, 2.5-inch pipes that employ factory replacement mufflers and rear-mounted resonators. Power-assisted disc and drum brakes provide the kind of quick and reliable stops that perfectly counter traditional, 15-inch Rallye wheels and requisite F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. And items like a new fuel tank and fresh shocks keep the car safe and road-ready. INTERIOR Grab a seat in this awesome Challenger and you'll find a correct Black interior that's detailed with tasteful wood accents and bright stainless trim. The first thing you'll notice is the car's high quality bucket seats, which feature comfortable pleats on top of straight frames and firm foam. The second thing you'll notice is fade-free carpet, which is protected by cool "Challenger R/T" branded floor mats. And the third thing you'll notice is a correct console, which wraps a short slap stick shifter in what seems like a mile of wood applique. At the sides of the car, full door panels hang chrome handles and cool lock tabs in front of factory power windows. At the front of the car, stylish wood applique frames clean instrumentation and a correct Chrysler Solid State 8-track player. In front of the driver, a Rim Blow steering wheel mixes good form with great function. At the back of the car, a roomy trunk sandwiches a correct jack and space saver spare between a vintage decal and correct mat. And desirable factory options, like a rear speaker, a rear defroster and 3-speed windshield wipers, are sprinkled throughout. OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION AND ACCESSORIESA Galen Govier Visual Inspection (conducted in 2012)Galen's Registry paperworkA large display boardA small trophyA few spare, believed to be original, parts While this Dodge might not be the rarest MoPar ever produced, time has greatly increased its exclusivity. This has to be one of the lowest-mileage first generation Challengers in existence. Don't miss your chance to own some super cool, mostly original MoPar muscle! That's right, this is an exceptionally popular, but very rare muscle car, that's still in its correct wild color. Even better is this one came from the factory loaded! Does it get any better than finding a California Charger? Sure, when it also has had a professional respray of its original color. This classic orange Mopar shade is called Go Mango. The correct-spec white vinyl roof does not have a cool a name for its hue, but it looks great, and matches the factory optional bumblee stripe on the rear. The squared-off bodywork with its exquisite curves, and butch simulated vents on the front doors, looks good in any color, but this bright orange finish seems to give it an aggressive touch that cannot be ignored. Of course these Chargers never needed much help with intimidation, thanks to the wraparound chrome front bumper. It draws attention to the recessed front end that looks like it will inhale anything that gets in its way. Then again, most people (like Rosco P. Coltrane) only saw the exceptionally wide taillights of these Mopars as they rapidly pulled away. A burnt orange interior is the last thing you'd expect to see on this car, which is kinda cool. After all, it's going to make people at the car show ask you what the original color arrangement was, and you can show them the fender tag with the rare correct EK2/C6K4 combination. Beyond just the color novelty, this will draw attention for being a thoroughly loaded car right from the factory. It has the high-back bucket seats with center console, and everything looks comprehensively original from the heater/defrost controls to the AM radio. There's plenty of '60s style luxury wood veneering on the dash, console, steering wheel, and of course, the iconic pistol grip shifter. Because you will be rowing through the gears, you'll appreciate the full gauge package, including a large tachometer next to the speedometer. In a muscle car that been this clean so far, you know exactly what you'll see when you lift the hood. It's an exceptionally tidy engine bay, nearly overflowing with motor. The big 440 cubic-inch Magnum V8 is the factory-correct powerplant for this car, and it just looks awesome in its period-correct dressings. Of course, in any other engine bay the orange block would be a wild standout color. Just in case you don't want to lift the hood, the headers and dual exhaust gives this car a roar that warns others about the beastly motor. And you'll be able to uphold the king of the streets attitude thanks to the four-speed manual transmission and Super Track Pack rear end that has a 9.75 Dana 60 axle with 4.10 ratio - that's perfect for power takeoffs. And boy, a set of mirrors at the car show will show off how nice the underside is. But, also don't be afraid to take this coupe on the long trips thanks to front disc brakes and power steering. It's getting harder and harder to find these factory high-spec big-block Chargers. This is the one that gives you everything you could want (even the owner's manual) for far less than the price of building or restoring a vintage Mopar for yourself. For instance, even though style is a matter of opinion, "beautiful Edsel" usually isn't thrown around too much. "Classic Honda" definitely isn't a combination you hear too often. And "electric street rod" seems about as natural as "vanilla bean chocolate". But, in case you couldn't tell, your friends at RK Motors Charlotte enjoy unique phrasing as much as we love unique cars. And that's why we're happy to use the words "affordable MoPar" to describe this sinister Dodge Dart. Fully restored and ready to hit the show, this classic wraps a massaged Magnum V8 and tough A833 4-speed in striking black and red aesthetics that are guaranteed to turn heads. BODYWORK/TRIM Much cleaner than when it originally rolled down Chrysler's storied assembly lines, this slick Dodge coupe has been transformed into a take-no-prisoners show stopper that consistently drops jaws. You won't be staying under the radar with the car's wet looking black paint, which highlights a very clean body that benefitted from a pair of fresh quarters. There are no signs of rust or rot, suggesting that mostly original metal was a straight, trouble-free canvas before its detailed metamorphosis began. Not surprisingly, panel gaps are good enough to make a traditional tail stripe line up exactly right. Trim is factory-spec all the way. And overall, this fully sorted Dart is a virtually flawless representation of timeless Detroit muscle. ENGINE When are two letters insufficient? "GT" says it all, right? Gran Turismo, Grand Touring, however you want to pontificate, if you're going to add a third letter it better mean something. And when Dodge tacked on an "S", they were sure to highlight the fact that they jammed a pavement-rippling torque monster under the hood of a lightweight, compact car. Check this GTS' glossy engine bay and you'll find a correct Magnum V8 that hangs a familiar 2468130 casting number opposite an August 15th, 1967 casting date. Now, I just said "Magnum" because, instead of being your run-of-the-mill 383, this bored and stroked small block currently displaces a whopping 434 cubic inches! At the top of the Hemi Orange mill, a coated Edelbrock 4-barrel guides wind from a correct chrome air cleaner in to a factory-spec intake. At the sides of that intake, chrome valve covers cap ported and polished 906 heads that have been rebuilt with 1.81 and 2.14 Manley stainless valves. At the front of those heads, an electronic distributor sequences spark between a fresh harness and clean Chrysler Electronic Suppression cables. Those cables fire stout 10.5 to 1 compression thanks to an internally balanced, forged 4340 crank, Eagle H-beam connecting rods and custom-built Ross Racing pistons. Restored exhaust manifolds feed large, true-dual pipes, with the help of a Comp flat-tappet cam. A correct 033 radiator circulates water through pliable Mopar hoses and modern screw clamps. And overall, this Dodge's clean engine bay is a nice combination of form and function, featuring a reproduction MoPar battery, an authentic Chrysler washer tank and high quality ARP fasteners. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take one look under this slick A-Body and you'll find a fully sorted chassis that's adequately equipped to back the car's attractive looks. A correct Chrysler A833 4-speed twists a proven 8.75-inch rear end that's fitted with correct 3.91 gears. That smooth drivetrain feeds a familiar front torsion bar and rear leaf suspension that's shackled to factory manual steering and aftermarket shocks. At the front of that suspension, factory disc brakes have been supplemented with slotted rotors. At the back of that suspension, factory drum brakes have been replaced with an SSBC disc conversion. Exhaust rumbles through true-dual pipes, which employ traditional turbo mufflers and polished stainless tips. Above that impressive hardware, original, body-matched floors frame a new fuel tank, fresh stainless fluid lines and sturdy subframe connectors. And at the corners of those floors, 15-inch steelies spin 215/70 BF Goodrich Radial redlines, and 235/70 BF Goodrich Radial redlines, around red-trimmed center caps. INTERIOR Inside this Dart, a quality Legendary interior does an excellent job of mimicking correct factory fodder. The car's bucket and bench seats are soft to the touch, featuring pliable covers that present very well. In front of those perches, a warp-free dash frames a trademark square speedometer above an old school Dart Solid State and small Auto Gage accessory gauges. Below that dash, a wood-trimmed and black-dyed console anchors a simple Hurst shifter. At the base of that console, "Dart" branded floor mats protect fade-free carpet. At the sides of that carpet, weather-free door panels unite glossy frames with serious "GTS" badging and sprinkle bright hardware. In front of the driver, a wood-look steering wheel spins bright spokes around a Sunpro Super Tach II. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk features a correct jack and fresh plaid mat. It's a good thing this 1968 Dodge Dart makes such an instant impression, because people will be spending most of their time looking at your taillights. Dodge's flyweight Dart proved the old adage that taking weight out was just as effective as beefing up horsepower. But what if you did both, then painted it a bright green? Well, you'd have this incredible Dart. These have always been the blocky looking bad boys, and now this one will even just about glow in the dark thanks to a fresh coat of Mopar's legendary shade of Sublime green. It also doesn't hurt that this has aggressive black accents in the hood scoop, and the NASCAR-style Dodge big font on the rear fenders. But even with all this custom work, our Dart doesn't skip out on 60s-style chrome, including the grille, hood pins, bumpers, and specialty Eagle wheels rivaling the paint for the perfect shine. The interior perfectly coordinates with the exterior as the wild green accents work well with the black main features. It looks like this one was restored recently considering the condition of the carpets, door panels, and the extra comfy microsuede seats for all six occupants. The B&M ratchet-style shifter is a clear indication that this is a driver's car. You get a three-spoke Grant sport steering wheel hooked up to provisions for power steering, if you want to use this for cruising. Of course something a little more devious might come to mind the moment you hear the thunderous roar of the exhaust. Pop the hood, and you'll see one mean-looking 318 cubic-inch V8. This Mopar Magnum is a fresh looking roller motor that has been upgraded with additional goodies such as a Holley electric fuel pump, dual feed 650 CFM carburetor, Accel distributor with Mopar high-energy ignition, MSD performance coil, electric cooling fan, and ceramic headers. It feeds a custom exhaust with performance H-pipe construction and Flowmaster mufflers. Power is sent to stout Torqueflite A727 three-speed automatic with 3,000 RPM stall to keep you in the ideal powerband. Just to make sure you get off the line and stay hooked to the pavement, there is a Ford nine-inch limited slip rear end running 4.10 gears. When it comes time to stop all this power, you'll be very happy about the front disc brake upgrade. This Pro Street Dart is an impressive custom build with all the right standout features. It's amazing you can bring it home for such an affordable price. During Detroit's first golden era, manufacturers were constantly trying to find a way to get younger buyers into their showrooms. Not surprisingly, Chrysler eventually made both the Hemi and the Magnum available to Charger buyers. And that combination of big power and dramatic looks created a rare street brawler which topped the food chain in both performance and appeal. This stunning Charger is an authentic V-code car that's dominated national events to the tune of a Mopar Nationals first place award, two AACA first place awards and an AACA factory high performance award. Freshly restored, powered by an original big block and propelled by a correct Torqueflite transmission, it's a world class contender that'll score judge for judge in the arena and stand match for match on the street. And if you're in the market for an exceptionally restored Mopar that has all the right stuff to continue gaining value, they just don't get much better! With an original broadcast sheet and multiple national awards in its arsenal, there should be little doubt about this Dodge's pedigree. But, for the sake of being thorough, I'll go ahead and break down its detailed fender tag.WS23:- Dodge Coronet or Charger- Special- 2-door hardtopV1A:- 440 cubic inch, 385 horsepower V8 that's equipped with three 2-barrel carburetors- 1971 model year- Assembled at Chrysler's Lynch Road facility155603: Assembly sequence numberE87: 440 cubic inch, high performance V8 that utilizes three 2-barrel carburetors to create 390 horsepowerD32: Heavy duty Torqueflite automatic transmissionCW3: Bright White paintD5X9:- Luxury trim- Cloth or vinyl bucket seats- Black interiorTX9: Black door frames218: Assembled on February 18th, 1971145610: Order numberV1X: Full, black vinyl roofU: Built to USA specificationsV68: Longitudinal stripe deleteC16: Console that's complete with a wood grain panel26: 26 inch radiatorP31: Power windows This awesome coupe's high quality, frame-off restoration began with a clean, original body that, based on appearance, has led a straight, trouble-free life. That said, this isn't 1971 anymore, and this Charger is no longer a run-of-the-mill assembly car, so that solid body was thoroughly stripped, lovingly sanded and massaged to a level that's much nicer than its original showroom condition. Once the car's panels were correctly aligned, and its intimidating slab-sided ambiance fully reconstructed, a correct coat of Chrysler code CW3 Bright White paint was expertly applied under a correct vinyl top and fresh R/T decals. And today, this razor-sharp Mopar sits as an ultra-straight, fully detailed pavement pounder that elicits loud comments and long stares every time it hits the road! Wearing lines that originated on Chrysler designer Carl Cameron's famous Charger Turbine Concept, this classic cruiser makes a bold and distinct styling statement from virtually every angle. At the front of the car, a split and chrome-trimmed grille hangs a bold "DODGE" script between four pristine headlights, clear parking lamps and an aggressive chin spoiler. At the top of the car, a louvered hood props two pristine "440 SIX PACK" emblems and two fresh lanyards in front of like-new glass that's framed in bright stainless trim. At the sides of the car, prominent fender lines, which are complemented by vertical door inlays, hang new chrome mirrors, small chrome handles and fresh "Charger R/T" scripts above dent-free wheel mouldings. And at the back of the car, a bright silver valence centers textured tail lights between a black spoiler, "Charger R/T DODGE DIVISION" emblems, a mirror-like bumper and red-inlayed exhaust tips. Lift this Dodge's long, freshly finished hood and you'll find an original 440 cubic inch Chrysler V8 that's been fully rebuilt and thoroughly detailed for show. On the sides of that big engine, 2536430-8 casting numbers indicate the presence of a correct RB powerplant. Just above those casting numbers, official January (1) 29th (29) of 1970 (70) casting dates align perfectly with the car's February production. And just below those casting dates, a matching 1A155603 partial VIN confirms the mill is indeed original equipment. At the top of the 390 horsepower monster, a correct trio of Holley 2-barrel carburetors ride within a giant, "440 MAGNUM SIX PACK" branded air cleaner. At the base of those carburetors, a correct Hemi Orange intake rides between original heads and traditional stamped steel valve covers. At the front of those valve covers, a reliable points distributor sequences spark through reproduction Chrysler Electronic Suppression wires. At the sides of that distributor, restored exhaust manifolds funnel spent gases into great sounding, true dual pipes. And in front of those manifolds, a correct 26 inch radiator circulates water through pliable hoses and authentic squeeze clamps. Aesthetically, the car's highly appealing engine bay impresses all the way from its Bright White fenders to its Hemi Orange block. Many details, such as a fresh Mopar red cap battery, a Chrysler branded washer tank and a Chrysler voltage regulator, make it seem like 1971 all over again. And functionally, a quick turn of the ignition switch springs the spry motor into a beefy, rumbling idle. By 1971, most street racers knew automatic gearboxes weren't necessarily a handicap. And today, these transmissions consistently pull numbers that are just as fast, or faster, than the best row-it-yourself cars. Behind this Charger's stout RB you'll find a stalwart A727 TorqueFlite that shifts smoothly and powers down the road with ease. With the car's floors, 'clean' is the name of the game as a cool layer of satin black paint is decorated with Bright White overspray and detailed with a full array of marks and tags. At the front of those floors, a good looking factory suspension is highlighted by correctly colored torsion bars and a rebuilt power steering system. At the back of those floors, a familiar Dana 60 posi-traction rear end utilizes steep 4.10 gears to throw power to the pavement with authority. At the center of those floors, a 2.5 inch, true-dual exhaust system sends spent gases through factory replacement mufflers, rear-mounted resonators and correct stainless tips. And at the corners of those floors, power front disc and rear drum brakes provide quick and reliable stops to perfectly counter 15 inch Rallye wheels and fresh G60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. Sit down inside this great looking Charger and you'll find a new vinyl interior that's accented with tasteful wood applique and bright stainless trim. The first thing you'll notice is the car's high quality bucket seats, which feature comfortable pleats on top of straight frames and what feels like brand new foam. The second thing you'll notice is new black carpet, which is protected by slick "R/T" branded floor mats. And the third thing you'll notice is a correct factory console, which wraps a traditional T-handle shifter in a contoured, driver-oriented design. At the sides of the car, full door panels hang fresh trim and orange-laced "Charger" emblems above slick chrome handles and small power window buttons. At the front of the car, a great looking dash hangs a rebuilt instrument cluster above a correct AM/FM radio and Chrysler's super rare stereo/recorder system. At the back of the car, a fully restored trunk hides a new mat beneath a new jack, a full-size spare and correct decklid markings. And in front of the driver, an infamous Mopar Tuff Wheel mixes a whole lot of form with a whole lot of function. As previously mentioned, this pristine Mopar enjoys some very prestigious accolades. Here's a brief list of the car's major awards:First Place at the 2012 AACA Annual Grand National MeetFactory High Performance Award for the 2011 AACA Eastern DivisionFirst Place at the 2010 Mopar NationalsFirst Place at the 2009 AACA Annual Grand National Meet As a nod to all of our friends who are staunch authenticity buffs, the sale of this clean Chrysler cruiser includes an original broadcast sheet and an original owner's manual. With a highly detailed restoration that was completed by expert builders, this awesome Charger is about as close to original as a restored car can get. It's fast, comfortable, stylish, and when you take a minute to look at the quality of its workmanship, you realize that the cost of restoring it to this level is about twice what it takes to drive it out of our RK Motors Charlotte showroom. If you're in the market for some old school, investment grade muscle that will gain value for years to come, it's time to stop reading and pick up the phone! However even the most seasoned car enthusiasts often forget how rare a Hemi Coronet convertible is to this day. This 1969 Hemi Coronet R/T convertible is one of only 10 produced, 1 of 4 that included a 4-speed, and 1 of only 2 that came with the A34 coded Super Track Pack. This extremely rare muscle car was deemed worthy enough to grace the collections of Harold Sullivan, and headline the Lingenfelter collection before arriving in our showroom. Featuring a feared and legendary drivetrain, 100% original sheetmetal, storied history, and an authentication by Galen Glovier, this Coronet can easily anchor any collection. In fact, Galen Govier had this to say about the Coronet; "Of the three total known Hemi '69 Coronet R/T convertibles that exist, this is the finest example." Before we get too far, let's take a close look at how Galen Govier decoded the fender tag in his appraisal that is included in the sale of this incredible Hemi: WS27:Dodge CoronetSpecial, R/TConvertible J: 426 HEMI 425HP 2-4BBL 8 CYL9: 1969G: St. Louis Assembly plant 194494: Sequence numberE74: 426 Hemi 2x4 barrel V8 425hpD21: 4 Speed Manual TransmissionY2Y2: Yellow Paint P6X: Trim - Premium, Vinyl Bucket Seats, BlackX9: Black Int. At the front of the car, a body-width, silver trimmed grille hangs a bright red "R/T" emblem and clear headlights above a good looking, body-width chrome bumper and clear, round parking lights. Above that grille, the car's smooth yellow hood, which wears two functional hood scoops that have been trimmed in chrome and branded with subtle "Hemi" emblems, give the front a very aggressive look. Regardless if you choose to have the black soft top up or down, the car has an absolutely incredible look, especially under our showroom lights. Down the sides of the body, the original sheetmetal is in near perfect condition. A pristine driver's side mirror and cool fender mounted side scoops in front of a black R/T stripe add to the overall vintage look. And at the back of the car, a satin black rear valence centers factory fresh tail lights between pristine "Dodge" and "R/T" decklid emblems, a second body-width chrome bumper, and rectangular stainless steel exhaust tips. Pop the hood and you'll reveal a period correct 426 Hemi living and breathing from within the yellow engine wearing a correct 2468330 casting number. The incredible engine was rated to produce 425hp at 5000RPM and could do 0-60 in 6.1 seconds straight from the factory! On top of the engine, a functional Ramcharger hood feeds air through a massive air filter that wears the Hemi name. From there, dual 4-barrel carburetors provide the engine with an air fuel mixture to create the 425hp. Spent gasses travel out cast iron headers through dual exhausts with an H-pipe that exit out the back of the car to create the legendary roar of a Hemi. In front of the engine is a correct 26" radiator that is responsible for cooling the massive power plant. From underneath this incredible machine you can see just how cared for it has been its entire life. At the front, you'll find the familiar Hemi orange block resting behind a torsion bar front suspension that is equipped with an anti-sway bar. Bolted to the Hemi is an A833 4-speed manual transmission that sends power to a Dana 60 rear-end that, thanks to the A34 Super Track Package, is equipped with 4.10 gears to give the Hemi a bit more leap off the line. Front disc and rear drum brakes are responsible for slowing the Coronet. While in front of those brakes are 15" Chrome Magnum 500 rims that have been wrapped in Goodyear F-70 rubber. This Coronet's fender tag says it was originally equipped with a P6X premium black vinyl interior; and thanks to the restoration, today it still looks like it hasn't seen any road time. At the bottom of the seats, black carpet props a Hurst chrome shifter out of the floor to control the 4-speed. The car's dash hangs fully rebuilt gauges, which include an optional tachometer, beside an original 2-watt Chrysler Solid State AM radio sporting Chrysler's cool thumb-wheel knobs. At the sides of the seats, correct door panels hang armrests under fresh stainless trim and wood applique. And behind the cockpit, a fully restored trunk props a full-size spare tire between a reproduction mat and a correct lid decal. The cockpit is a very luxurious place to log miles from. Adding to the appeal of this rare muscle car is just how well documented the car is. As we mentioned before, the sale includes an extensive appraisal from Galen Govier, copy of original window sticker, and a copy of appraisal from E. Edward Lucas II. Both appraisals that accompany this car show it appraised for north of $200,000, but you can add rarity to your collection for much less with this '69 Hemi Coronet R/T. It doesn't get much rarer than owning a car that is 1 of only 2 in the world. If you are ready to take home awards at events around the country, or are just wanting to add an extremely rare muscle car to your collection, this Hemi Convertible is capable of doing both. Trust us, under our showroom lights this muscle car won't last long. About This Auction Please note that all sales are binding and final. And that's why we're happy to use the words "affordable MoPar" to describe this awesome 1969 Dodge Dart GTS. Fully restored and ready to hit local cruise nights, this classic wraps an original Magnum V8 and smooth 3-speed transmission in a striking blue and white color combination that's guaranteed to turn heads. And at only $40K it's the perfect way for any enthusiast to grab a cool old car and enjoy every aspect of the hobby! BODYWORK/TRIM Much cleaner than when it originally rolled down Chrysler's storied assembly lines, this slick Dodge coupe has been transformed into a take-no-prisoners street warrior that consistently knocks people out at cruise nights. You won't be staying under the radar with the car's killer Bluefire Metallic paintwork, which has been applied over a very clean body. There are no signs of rust or rot, suggesting that body was a straight, trouble-free canvas before its metamorphosis began. Trim is factory-spec all the way. Bright white vinyl adds a bit of style and protection. Not surprisingly, panel gaps are good enough to make a traditional tail stripe line up exactly right. And overall, the car is a virtually flawless representation of timeless Detroit muscle. ENGINE Lift this Dart's sculpted hood and you'll find an original, 383 cubic inch Magnum V8 that backs a correct 2468130 casting number with a matching partial VIN. At the top of the Hemi Orange block, a clean Edelbrock 4-barrel sends wind from an Organisol-coated air cleaner in to a factory-spec intake. At the sides of that intake, attractive chrome valve covers cap correct heads and fully restored exhaust manifolds. At the front of those manifolds, a traditional points distributor sequences spark through fresh Chrysler Electronic Suppression cables. And in front of those cables, a heavy duty radiator circulates water through new hoses and old school squeeze clamps. This Dodge's clean engine bay is a nice combination of form and function, featuring a fresh yellow cap battery, an authentic Chrysler washer tank, stainless fuel lines and a rebuilt wiper motor. And everything from the car's fenders to its firewall is coated in the same excellent Bluefire Metallic paint as its glossy exterior panels. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take one look under this beefy MoPar and you'll find a fully sorted chassis that's adequately equipped to back the car's sinister looks. A correct Chrysler A727 3-speed twists a proven 8.75-inch rear end that's fitted with a Sure Grip differential and road-ready, 3.23 gears. That smooth drivetrain feeds a fully sorted front torsion bar and rear leaf suspension that's shackled to factory power steering and fresh KYB Gas-a-Just shocks. Cool and confident stops are provided by manual disc and drum brakes. Exhaust rumbles through true-dual pipes, which employ traditional turbo mufflers and polished stainless tips. Above that impressive hardware, solid floors have been dressed in a nice layer of body-matched basecoat. And at the corners of those floors, 14-inch Rallye wheels spin 205/70 BF Goodrich Radial T/As around stainless trim rings and color-keyed center caps. INTERIOR If you're like us and prefer your muscle cars flashy, you'll definitely appreciate the contrast exhibited by this Dodge's striking blue and white interior. The car's vivid perches are firm to the touch, featuring pliable covers that present very well. In front of that bench and bucket combo, a warp-free dash frames Chrysler's trademark square speedometer and an old school Dart Solid State radio in broad swaths of black and stainless. Below that dash, a wood-trimmed and blue-dyed console centers a simple chrome shifter behind a factory-spec tachometer. At the base of that console, "Dodge" branded floor mats protects fade-free carpet. At the sides of that carpet, white door panels unite white frames with serious "GT SPORT" badging and a sprinkle bright hardware. In front of the driver, a simple blue steering wheel laps stainless-trimmed foot pedals. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk features a fresh plaid mat. OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATIONAn Owner's Manual It's not mere hype when we say you need to call right away about this awesome Dart. Well-built, compact MoPars are just good, clean fun. And every time we put a reasonably priced example in our showroom, our phones start ringing off the hook. Take a good, long look at the body, drivetrain and interior of this sporty coupe. There's just no way you could build something like this without significantly overshooting our $40K asking price. Don't be the guy who calls late and asks: "Is it really sold?" From their wide stance and all-American sheetmetal to their distinctive V8 rumble and outrageous 'war paint', Chrysler's star muscle cars scream for attention, demand respect and pull big numbers. That's because HEMI powered Mopars, like Ford's Shelby Mustangs and Pontiac's Super Duty Trans Ams, are considered the ultimate factory performance machines by pretty much anyone who's ever turned a wrench. And naturally, all that high praise creates big time exclusivity which adds a 40 to 50 percent premium to the price of any professionally restored metal. Need examples? Not too long ago we sold this sinister blue Roar Runner for a cool $90K, and before that we sent this 1 of 1 GTX to its proud new owner for a solid $95K! Well, they say luck happens in threes, and as luck would have it this authentic Hemi/4-speed Coronet mixes correct red paint, a correct white on black interior and a correct 4-speed transmission with a killer Mopar Performance V8. If you're looking for some awesome Chrysler muscle that you can drive, enjoy and watch appreciate, this rare B-Body is the opportunity of a lifetime! 1 of 100 Hemi/4-speed Coronets built for the 1968 model year, this coupe rolled off Chrysler's St. Louis assembly line with the following roster of equipment:CAR: Dodge Coronet R/T 2-door hardtopENGINE: 426 cubic inch high performance HEMI V8 which came equipped with two 4-barrel carburetorsTRANSMISSION: Floor shifted 4-speed manualTIRES: F70x15 nylon belted red sidewall tiresMODEL YEAR: 1968BUILD DATE: December 31st of 1967AXLE: Either a Dana 60 or 8.75 rear end which came equipped with either 3.54 or 3.55 gearsINTERIOR: White on black sport trim interior with vinyl bucket seats.PAINT: Red exterior paintOTHER: Complete with white upper door frames and a white bumblebee sport stripe. Not 'circus show' bright or 'Farmall flat', it is indeed as smooth and even as its name implies with a pigment that's just bright enough to serve as either a tough weekend strip warrior or a well-mannered street car. It appears the car's restoration began with a solid original body that was in surprisingly good shape; and a current examination of that body reveals that all repairs made were conducted with high quality materials and first rate workmanship. Naturally, the body's restoration-fresh panel gaps are narrow and precise. Subsequently excellent panel alignment lays the foundation for moving parts which open and close with ease and echo nice, solid sounds. And at the back of the body, a correct white bumblebee sport stripe has been applied with a keen eye toward authenticity and, when combined with the paint's perfect reflections and the body panels ripple-free profile, creates one stellar Mopar muscle car! Dodge's Coronet was a little plainer than its Charger sibling, but a lot of people like that contrast and dig the car's super clean looks. At the front of this R/T's clean profile a body-width, stainless-trimmed grille hangs a bright "R/T" emblem and four clear headlights above a pristine chrome bumper and clear, round parking lamps. Above that grille a smooth red hood, which wears a traditional Mopar power bulge, flows to like-new glass that's sandwiched between fresh stainless trim, dulled stainless wipers and straight chrome drip rails. Below that hood subtly sculpted panels, which cast solid and unbroken reflections, hang familiar chrome door handles, small round marker lights and strategically placed "R/T and "HEMI" emblems between new stainless wheel trim, dent-free rocker mouldings and a traditional driver's mirror. And at the back of those panels, a satin black valence hangs factory fresh tail lights and a fourth red "R/T" emblem above a bright "DODGE" script, a second pristine bumper, and small, rectangular exhaust tips. Under this hot B-Body's hood you'll find a hot, 426 cubic inch Mopar Performance engine which, like the elephant it's modeled after, easily produces a solid 425 horsepower and a stout 490 lb./ft. of torque. Fully rebuilt, and completely detailed, this sweet big block combines the best attributes of that original 426 design with a few modern upgrades to deliver a killer combination of unbeatable performance and everyday drivability. At the top of the monster motor, two coated Edelbrock carburetors sip Sinclair through fresh stainless fuel lines and suck air through a large chrome air cleaner that's branded with a subtle orange decal. At the base of those carburetors a correct, HEMI Orange intake props a familiar points distributor between traditional Organisol covered valve covers. And at the sides of that intake, fire travels into the cylinders via eight reproduction Chrysler Corporation Electronic Suppression plug wires which snake around two correctly restored exhaust manifolds. Cooling for the big engine is provided by a familiar 26 inch Chrysler radiator which circulates water through fresh hoses and correct squeeze clamps. And like the motor itself, the car's smooth red engine bay is highly detailed and exceptionally impressive from its reproduction Mopar red cap battery all the way to its fresh decals and Chrysler branded washer fluid tank. Behind that big HEMI engine you'll find a correct A833 18 spline 4-speed that's just a driveshaft away from a correct Dana 60 posi-traction rear end and excellent 3.54 gears. The car's correct front torsion bar and rear leaf spring suspension presents as new from its brake lines and hoses all the way to its shocks and tie rods. This chassis left the factory with power front disc and rear drum brakes, and so they remain, along with a fresh power steering system. At the center of the floors, a free flowing, true dual exhaust system sends charred dinosaurs through an H-pipe crossover to awesome dual chamber Flowmaster mufflers and traditional stainless tips. And speaking of the floors, yes, they have been over-restored to match the body, but you can't argue with how good it looks; and imagine the comments from your friends as you wheel up in your new Coronet and instruct them to have a look underneath. The mill's power flows to the ground through familiar chrome Magnum 500s which wear sticky 225/70 BF Goodrich Silvertown red walls. And the car's rock solid undercarriage has been fitted with all new hardware that includes a new stainless fuel tank and new stainless fuel lines. Open this B-Body's elongated doors and you'll be greeted by a correct black and white vinyl interior that's been restored to the same brilliant standards as the rest of the car. In the late 60s Chrysler was still well into its personal luxury phase, and that mindset certainly shows in the design of this cockpit. From the white driver's seat, completely restored to match the rest of the passenger's perches, a wood-rimmed and satin-spoked steering wheel extends beyond a well thought dash. To the far left, controls for lights, flashers and a dimmer for the instrument panel are tucked into neat rectangular housings. Directly in front of the wheel, a rebuilt gauge cluster props a Tic-Toc-Tachometer and a large speedometer next to a grid of secondary gauges which keep track of the big cube powerplant's vitals. And to the far right, a correct Dodge Solid State AM radio sits between Chrysler's familiar rolling tuner knobs. At the floor, fresh black carpet is protected by heavy duty "Coronet R/T" branded mats. On the doors, ornate white panels hang stainless trim, chrome handles and pliable armrests below correct white frames that are branded with contrasting "Coronet R/T" emblems. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk features a correct lid decal, a new mat, a modern spare and a correct jack assembly. The sale of this awesome Dodge includes a picture of the original fender tag detailed above. With all the focus on big money Chargers and 'Cudas, it's easy to overlook cars like this authentic Hemi/4-speed Coronet. But that also means this super clean hardtop is an underappreciated rarity that offers all the same performance and handsome good looks as its popular siblings with increased exclusivity. Expertly finished in every way, this is one Mopar that will show well at any major event, is an absolute blast to drive, and certainly won't last long! From their wide stance and all-American sheetmetal to their distinctive V8 rumble and outrageous 'war paint', Chrysler's star muscle cars scream for attention, demand respect and pull big numbers. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Rotisserie Restored Charger Daytona 440 Magnum 4 Speed Year: 1969 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Red Mileage: 28115 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 440 Magnum V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info When we say "blue chip collector car" it usually means one of two things: either an all-original time capsule that's fit for a museum, or something that's so rare only serious enthusiasts know it exists. But when it comes to Chrysler aero cars, EVERYONE, from hardcore historians to eight year old day dreamers, knows they're looking at something special. This incredible Charger Daytona is a fully documented, 1 of 8 showpiece that's been rotisserie restored by the pros at our own RKM Performance Center. No car turns as many heads as a Chrysler halo model. And, unlike other outrageous looking machines, they usually have the pedigree and performance to back up their extreme appearance. If you're a serious Mopar enthusiast who's looking for a crown jewel classic to lead your collection, welcome to the world of winged warriors! Before we start this streetable stock car's detailed description, here's a look at how it rolled down Chrysler's Dodge Main assembly line:E86: 440 cubic inch Magnum V8 that's fitted with 4-Barrel carburetionD21: Heavy duty 4-speed manual transmissionX: Dodge ChargerX: Daytona Charger29: 2-door sports hardtopL: 440 cubic inch V8 that utilizes 4-Barrel carburetion to produce 375 horsepower9: 1969 model yearB: Assembled at Chrysler's Dodge Main manufacturing facility in Hamtramck, MichiganXXXXXX: Sequence numberR6: Red roof paintR6: Red body paintC: Charger grade trim6: Vinyl bucket seatsX: Black interiorX9: Black door frames521: Assembled on Wednesday May 21st, 1969926411: Vehicle order numberA11: Special model: Charger DaytonaA33: Dana 60 Track Pack axleC16: ConsoleC55: Bucket seatsG11: Tinted glassJ25: Electronic 3-speed windshield wipersM21: Roof drip rail moldingsM31: Body belt moldingsR11: Music Master AM radioV88: R/T Bumblebee sport stripe delete (Add Daytona stripe)Y39: Special order26: 26-inch radiatorEN: End of codes2: Assembly line 2 In the 60s, Chrysler and Ford were heavily vested in the "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" sales mentality, and Dodge's Charger 500 just wasn't getting the job done. In an attempt to one up Ford's slick and equally fast Torino, Dodge went back to the drawing board and began exploring aerodynamics. This was a first for a car company, and it eventually culminated in testing full-scale models at Lockheed Martin's North Carolina wind tunnel. Engineer's quickly realized the benefits of a wind-cutting nose, but their real epiphany came when they employed a large rear stabilizer. Not only did that 'rocket nose' and 'park bench' spoiler combination create 'zero lift' downforce, it also produced immense directional stability, permitting speeds in excess of 200 MPH. Not surprisingly, Dodge's storied Daytona won the first race it competed in and would eventually become one of the most successful NASCAR stock cars of all time. Originally sold through Reedman Dodge in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, this rare, red Daytona features an exceptionally straight body that was perfected during a professional, rotisserie restoration. The car's rebirth began when the skilled techs at our own RKM Performance Center completely stripped its striking but faded profile all the way down to bare metal. Once that metal was married to a fresh trunk pan, its facets were sanded and lovingly massaged to a level that's much nicer than factory fodder. With those facets adequately planed, and Chrysler's intimidating ambiance fully reconstructed, a correct coat of code R6 two-stage was sealed under a bright Daytona stripe. And today, this Dodge sits as an ultra-straight, fully detailed pavement pounder that's some of the coolest, most attention-grabbing iron Detroit has ever created. When you step back and take a look at this Charger's sinuous body, many adjectives come to mind. Wicked... Astonishing... Dreadful... Infamous... But, in reality, Chrysler spent a lot of R&D time making sure the car fit one specific descriptor: functional. Every piece of this Daytona was whittled to maximum efficiency in pursuit of one goal: lapping large race tracks at a high rate of speed. At the front of the car, a downforce-producing nose hangs sleek, flip-up headlights above a small grille, hidden parking lamps and a body-matched chin spoiler. Behind that nose, drag reducing heat extractors ride between standard hood pins and like-new glass that's bordered by straight stainless trim. At the sides of those extractors, prominent fender lines, which anchor familiar "Charger" scripts at the base of the car's large B-pillars, feature fresh wheel trim, familiar door handles and a correct Chrysler mirror. And at the back of the car, a Satin Black valence centers clear tail lights and a bright "Charger" emblem between chrome-trimmed reverse lamps, a detailed 'pit stop' fuel filler, a new chrome bumper and a giant, 24-inch wing. Hoist the car's long hood and you'll find a correct, 440 cubic inch Magnum V8 that's authenticated by a 2536430 casting number and January (1) 20th (20), 1970 (70) casting date. At the top of that 375 horsepower monster, a correct Carter carburetor rides within a small, Organisol-coated air cleaner. At the base of that carburetor, a correct Chrysler intake hangs between correct heads and traditional, stamped steel valve covers. At the front of those valve covers, a reliable points distributor shoots spark through Chrysler Electronic Suppression cables. And at the sides of that distributor, fully restored exhaust manifolds funnel spent gases into great sounding, true-dual tail pipes. Aesthetically, this Charger's red hot engine bay is exceptionally impressive from its glossy brake booster and fresh power steering pump all the way to its big, 26-inch radiator and reproduction red cap battery. And a great combination of new and replacement parts make the car's operation both fun and reliable, with items like a correct washer tank, taut carburetor springs and fresh, Chrysler-branded hoses ensuring miles of safe travel. Toss this B-Body in the air and you'll find a fully sorted undercarriage that's been completely restored to a factory-accurate state. Heavy duty primer protects weather-free floorpans that showcase a natural blend of carefully faded overspray. Not surprisingly, the car's rugged A833 4-speed needed very little to be rebuilt to solid, like-new condition. That stalwart gearbox sends power to a correct Dana 60 Track Pack rear end. In front of that drivetrain, gold torsion bars combine with optional power steering to make quick work of big bumps and tight curves. Behind that drivetrain, fresh shocks augment traditional leaf springs below a leak-free fuel tank. Stops come courtesy of heavy duty power drum brakes that are positioned at all four corners. Exhaust is handled by aluminized tubes, which bend around an H-shaped crossover, traditional turbo mufflers and bright stainless tips. And all that Mopar goodness rolls on familiar Magnum wheels, which twist 225/75R14 Coker Classic redlines around stainless trim rings and polished center caps. Inside this awesome Dodge, a correct Legendary interior is clean, well-fitted and surprisingly stylish. The seats, which ride in a typical bucket/bench configuration, display no significant signs of wear. In front of those thrones, an expertly restored dash hangs rebuilt factory gauges beside a thumb-adjusted Dodge Solid State radio. At the bottom of that dash, like-new carpet anchors a familiar Hurst shifter inside a long, wood-trimmed console. At the sides of that carpet, fresh door panels hang new armrests and pliable map pockets under bright stainless trim and orange-tinged "Charger" emblems. Above those panels, old school shoulder belts frame a tight, black headliner. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel spins a glossy black rim around a monochromatic, fratzog-branded column cover. And behind the cockpit, the car's professionally restored trunk is complete all the way down to its plaid mat, correct jack and correct spare tire. Naturally, this phenomenal Charger features amazing provenance. Here's a chronological breakdown of the items included with its sale:Vintage photosRestoration photosRestoration receiptsA reproduction window sticker.Framed documentation from The Chrysler Registry A poster child for the golden era of Detroit, the Charger Daytona stands head and shoulders above nearly every classic in terms of looks, exclusivity and performance. Few cars are as popular as they are polarizing, and that simply adds to its cache. With a smooth, era-correct powertrain, mostly-original sheetmetal and enough visual flash to stand out in a mirror factory, this awesome coupe is about as close to the ultimate muscle car as you can get! [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Restored Numbers Matching Coronet R/T 440 Magnum V8 Year: 1967 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Yellow Mileage: 43810 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 440 Magnum V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info In 1967, the Dodge Coronet R/T was one of the most feared cars to see arrive at your local drag strip. It featured a 375hp 440 Magnum and if that wasn't enough, it could come equipped with a 426 Hemi. This true 1967 Coronet R/T is a great example why these beasts were so popular. Coming off a fresh rotisserie restoration that was completed in 2013, this R/T features a killer $30,000 paint job, freshly built 440 Magnum, and a completely restored vinyl interior. As far as Coronet R/T's go, it doesn't get much better than this. But before we get too far into this true Coronet R/T, let's start by decoding the VIN number: VIN: WS23L77162700 W: Coronet S: R/T 23: 2-door hardtop L: 440 CID Hi Performance 7: 1967 7: Built in St. Louis, MO 162700: Production number sequence And some body tag information:Build Date: December 22nd Axle: 2.94 rear axle Premium trim grade A1: 26in RadiatorR1: AM RadioX2: Tinted Windshield Onlya6: Consoleb4: Bucket Seatsj4: Moulding - Body Sill Narrow A lifelong North Carolina car, this B-body received a complete rotisserie style restoration to end up in the shape that it is today. The body, which is all the original sheetmetal except for the floorpans that had to be replaced due to rust, is covered in a gorgeous shade of the correct cream paint. $30,000 was spent just on the paint job, which is absolutely immaculate. At the front of the body you have the body width front bumper just below the massive front grille. Inside the grille you'll find the four headlights and the R/T logo. Chrome dodge lettering lies on the front of the hood, while at the back you have four chrome slits in the hood that act as a non-functional hood scoop. Chrome trim starts in the front fender well and extends through the rear tire wells. R/T logos grace the quarter panels and the rear of the car with another chrome dodge emblem. Another body width bumper is attached to the rear just above the dual exhausts dumps. Pop the hood on this Coronet R/T and you'll find the original, massive 440 Magnum V8 filling the engine bay. Even though the Hemi was available in the R/T Coronets, most understood how powerful and feared the Magnums were when they left the factory. Over 10,000 Coronet's were ordered with the 440 Magnum, while only 238 left the factory with the Hemi. During its extensive restoration, the 440 received a complete rebuild from former Penske Racing and Junior Johnson engine builder, Steve Triplett. During the build, it was bored .040 over, received forged pistons, high performance valves, and a hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters. At the top of the air filter, silver lettering on a red backing give away that what you are looking at is in fact a 440 Magnum. On the side of the block you will find the 2536430 casting number and the branding that shows it was finished on the night shift on June 15th 1966. The block painted in a bluish-green looks fantastic against the cream engine bay color. Put the Coronet on a lift and you'll see the aforementioned new floor pans that were painted in the same cream shade as the exterior. Stopping power comes thanks to front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Attached to the Magnum 440 is the original A727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission that feeds power through a driveshaft to the 8 rear axle with a 2.94 open differential. Spent gases travel out the cast iron exhaust manifolds through the H-pipe dual exhausts to create a breathtaking sound at the back of the car. Brand new shocks can be found at all four corners behind the 15" Chrome Magnum 500 rims that have been wrapped in BF Goodrich Silvertown red line rubber. Inside, the interior is just as impressive as the rest of the car. Open the door and you'll be greeted by a completely restored black vinyl interior that features the correct bucket seats that were re-covered by Rhoades Upholstery in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Originally the Coronet left the factory with white and gold trim, however, the owner opted to restore it to black vinyl with chrome trim during its restoration. The fantastic look starts with the door panels that feature black vinyl and chrome trim that has chrome Coronet R/T badging. In front of the driver is the 150mph speedo and instrument cluster. Between the two front bucket seats is the control for the 3-speed automatic transmission and the radio. Above the driver is a taught black headliner that looks stunning. Behind the front seats is a bench seat capable of holding two or three of your closest friends on the way to a car show. The sale of this Coronet includes the original broadcast sheet, original operating instructions, original vehicle certicard, and a stack of receipts from its highly detailed restoration. If you are in the market for a true R/T car, it doesn't get much better than this 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T. The 2-door hardtop has less than 140 miles since its complete restoration and is ready to anchor any collection or win awards at the local car show. With power in reserve under the hood thanks to the original drivetrain, an incredible paint scheme, and a restored interior, this Coronet R/T is stunning in every way. Don't miss your chance to own this R/T. Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information. When the Viper got the nod to pace the Indy 500 in \'96, Dodge went a little overboard. It was the 80th running, Chrysler chairman Bob Lutz set the field, and Dodge trucks would be the official vehicle of the week. Grabbing onto the red hot sport truck movement, they created just over 2800 replicas like the 1996 Ram pickup you see here. And while some were pressed into use as work trucks, there were some that were destined for show duty, like this one which shows just 7,900 original miles. The formula was pretty simple: Start with the cool short bed configuration, option it up with SLT Laramie trim, throw in the sport package and paint it Brilliant Blue with white stripes like the Viper. Power it with the 5.9 liter V8 with a side-outlet exhaust, include the door graphics like the trucks at the track, add some larger rolling stock, and wait for the orders to roll in. It was a great-looking Ram that stood out at the Home Depot and anywhere else you took it. With under eight thousand miles, however, you can see that it didn\'t go far. The paint is in amazing condition for its age, and it looks like nothing more serious than folding chairs were ever loaded in the bed. Not content with the stock package, though, the previous owner made a good thing even better. There\'s a rear roll pan where the bumper once was, painted and striped like the tailgate. Billet grille inserts up front add additional flash and there\'s a flush-fitting tonneau cover with more blue and white paint that matches extremely well. The back of the cab below the rear window was striped, too, giving you the feeling that the original owner really loved his truck! Inside you\'ll find some more custom work in the spotless cabin. There\'s an aluminum bezel kit on the dash and a billet gauge cluster insert. You\'re sitting on leather seats with embroidered Dodge logos, an option not available in 1996. If that sounds odd remember that even when this truck was built you had to pay extra for the cassette radio in the dash; these were still primarily work vehicles. SLT packaged Rams came with power windows, locks and mirrors, tilt wheel, a leather wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning (again, this wasn\'t standard then), cruise control and more. It\'s a comfortable place to be, and with the low miles it\'s quite fresh. Under the hood is a 5.9 liter Magnum V8 putting out a fairly stout 245 horsepower. This was the largest engine you could get in a Dodge half-ton in \'96, and the extra power from the exhaust is heard as well as felt. Presentation is tidy, and the only replacement component you can see is a newer battery. It\'s hard to find fault with something so clean. Checking out the chassis it\'s impossible to overlook the lowered stance, which is perfectly in tune with the truck\'s show mission and it looks great. Slotted rotors are at all four corners while Baer brake calipers bring you down from speed in a hurry. The original 17-inch American Racing mags were huge for their time but these 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels with 245/40/20 front and 275/35/20 rear Goodyear meats bring this Ram totally up to date. Indy replica vehicles are always collector pieces from first-gen Camaros to current. This Ram is in great condition and was obviously owned and loved by a dedicated hobbyist. This is a ton of truck for the money. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom. For more information, please call (817) 764-8000 or toll free (855) 877-2707. This 2009 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak presents a unique opportunity to purchase not only very rare and exclusive Mopar sheetmetal, but one that is untouched and as delivered from the factory. So if you\'re looking for that next piece to preserve in your collection, or start your own NHRA/IHRA Super Stock program, now is your chance! Dodge built 100 of these cars solely for sanctioned racing as a package car for stock and super stock series, and this particular car is number 76 built for the 2009 model year. Buyers were provided with a motor and race-prepped shell, but the rest is up to the buyer for completion. Therefore, most of these Drag Pak cars have gone on to see the intended use they were built for, making 1/4 mile passes, so finding a car with this kind of pedigree that is still as the factory delivered in a body-in-white finish is certainly rare. A Drag Pak exclusive, composite liftoff hood, is the only update to the body of the Drag Pak cars, everything else is OEM Challenger finished in Stone White. These cars were never issued a VIN, so you won\'t be able to legally take this Challenger on the road without it. With that in mind, Dodge provided the customer with a mirror delete for some extra weight savings. You\'ll also notice the steel trailer wheels, these are for transport purposes only since the customer will be supplying their own competition wheels and tires. The windshields have been spot glued in four places for easy removal when it\'s time to install a roll cage, and there is a small pull latch in the rear fascia to access the trunk since the Drag Paks are devoid of unnecessary power accessories. Inside, things still resemble a street going Challenger. There are some obvious features missing for more weight savings like the center console, power controls on the steering wheel, the rear seat, and sound deadening material. In fact, The Drag Pak weighs about 1000 lbs less than a regular Challenger and also comes without a windshield wiper assembly, no power steering system, no heat shields, no fuel tank assembly, no exhaust system, and even the door windows are lightweight polycarbonate pieces. There is only half of the carpet provided and the only obvious additions over a stock Challenger are the Viper seats to accommodate a 6-point harness and a Mopar switch panel located in the center of the factory dash. Even though the HVAC system has been removed, the factory controls still rest in the dash. Probably a good spot to mount a few auxiliary gauges if this Drag Pak ever sees the drag strip. Drag Pak buyers had the options of a 5.7L or 6.1L Hemi, or a 5.9L Magnum motor. Car number 76 comes with the most powerful option, the 6.1L Hemi motor braced by solid motor mounts, and it looks great topped by an aluminum high ram EFI intake manifold with a four barrel throttle body. Inside the orange, cast iron block is a forged reciprocating assembly with forged 12:1 pistons and a hydraulic roller cam. Confirming the authenticity of this rare car is a LC22 Drag Progarm identification plate with a serial number mounted by the passenger side strut mount. Drag Pak buyers had the option of a set-up for a 4-speed automatic or 6-speed manual assembly. The buyer of this car went with a 6-speed manual set-up and a Tremec T56 transmission is bolted to the block and ready for duty, while the temporary shipping cross member is still in place. A lightweight, drag race only front brake system is in place, as well as a special modified K-member with drop out cross-member and manual rack and pinion steering, but from here everything else is basically a blank canvas. The transmission tunnel has been modified for clearance and use of a one piece drive shaft, while the floor has been raised above the differential for a solid axle conversion. If you\'re an avid Mopar collector or drag racer, this is your chance of a lifetime. How many more opportunities will come across to lock-in a pure bred racer like this in your stable? If you just add up the sum of all of the racing hardware that comes with this Drag Pak, you\'re writing a check that\'s close to our asking price. Don\'t miss this opportunity. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. For more information, please call (704) 598-2130 or toll free (866) 542-8392. Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>
