Call or text "87060" to 631-318-2031 for more information MG C Roadster - Only 1,000 Miles on Rebuilt Motor Vehicle Overview: Stock: GCN1U/6620G VIN: GCN1U6620G Year: 1969 Exterior Color: Red Make: MG Interior Color: Black Model: C Mileage: 47487 Engine: 2,912cc 6 cyl Transmission: Manual Vehicle Description: 1969 MG C ROADSTER --Red with Black leatherette interior and Black Convertible Top. 47,000 miles. 2,912cc incline 6 cylinder, 4-speed manual transmission with Overdrive. 1,000 miles on rebuilt engine. The MG C was a 2912 cc, straight 6-cylinder version of the MGB sold from 1967 and produced until August 1969. In the twin SU carbureted form used in the MGC the engine produced 145 bhp at 5250 rpm. The body shell needed considerable revision around the engine bay and to the floor pan, but externally the only differences were a distinctive bonnet bulge to accommodate the relocated radiator and a teardrop for carb clearance. It had different brakes from the MGB, 15 inch wheels, a lower geared rack and pinion and special torsion bar suspension and telescopic dampers. Like the MGB, it was available as a coupé (GT) and roadster. An overdrive gearbox or three-speed automatic gearbox were available as options. The car was capable of 120 mph and a 0–60 mph time of 10.0 seconds. The MGC was cancelled in 1969 after less than two years of production, today the car is considered very collectible. This MGC Roadster having been in the same owner ship for over 25 years was partially restored around 2001. The work included any necessary bodywork, fresh paint, fresh suspension, new interior and some minor engine refreshing. The work was performed by qualified restoration and mechanical facilities fluent in vintage automobile restoration. The cars condition is excellent and having been completed in 2001, the C’s condition is a testament to the workmanship. Sold in 2012 to is most recent owner, it was decided that the MGC restore the C’s mechanicals. The engine was pulled and shipped to Alderman Automotive in New Castle, Delaware where the engine and carburetors were rebuilt in total. While the engine was out, the braking system was overhauled with new dual remote master cylinder, vacuum booster and stainless lines. The clutch and throw out bearing was replaced and transmission and overdrive refreshed at this time. Having been driven locally during the summer season, this MGC has been traded toward another automobile from our inventory. It represents great value and fun for the money and is an excellent useable example of a true British Sports car. > 1969 MGC Roadster!!! Here is a beautiful 1969 MGC GT that has had tens of thousands of dollars poured into it and it truly shows. This car is a great restored example of the relatively rare MGC Roadster. This car is 100% rust free car that was originally sold new in California!!! T The cars pans are incredibly rust free and the car looks to be accident free as well. This car has had a very nice restoration and has been driven and enjoyed, this is a GREAT driving car. This car according to the previous owners has only traveled 53k miles since new! The car was throughly gone throught featuring a bare metal paint job, new interior, rebuilt carbs, brakes, steering wheel, hydrolics etc... This car is in excellent running condition and is 100% turn key ready. The engine fires right up and the car has PLENTY of power coming from the large Austin 2912cc straight 6. This is a very smooth running engine with very crisp throttle response. The cars transmission shifts beautifully and the car is a blast to drive. The steering is nice and tight and the cars power brakes work very well. The body on this car is absolutely laser straight and the doors line up great. The cars underside is rust free, original and in excellent condition. One look under the hood, and you can see that this car has been lovingly cared for and given lots attention to detail. These cars are great cars to drive and enjoy either daily or just for fun on the weekends. They are beautiful to look at, rare to see (about 4400 built world wide over 3 years), easy and even fun to maintain due to there simplicity. This is a turn key MGC that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. This is a beautiful car that will surely make its new owner very happy! Why these cars are not as valuable or more valuable than a Austin Healey 3000 is beyond me. These cars have the same great engine, but C is built on a unibody which just rides and handles worlds better that a Healey 3000. The two don't even compare. There is so much more room, a significantly better ride and far fewer produced. One day the market will wake up to these great cars. As a side note, I have been looking for an MGC roadster for 10 years but struggled to find one that passed the muster. I will regret selling this truly great car! This is a buy it now or best offer listing. This car is availble for purchase at anytime. There is no advantage to waiting for the end of the listing to purchase the car. In fact, I would prefer a quick sale at a lower price than waiting for more money at the end of the listing. Please feel free to call and ask questions and make an offer! Call Justin at 602-339-2416 Click to enlarge Exterior: This beautiful MGC Roadster was recently the subject of a bare metal restoration and as you can see from the photos, it looks great. The body on the car is laser straight. All of the doors line up beautifully. The chrome bumpers on the car are like new and in excellent condition. Everything on the car lines up nicely and even the grill fits excellent. All of the lights and lenses on the car are in excellent condition as well. This car is 100% rust free and is free of floor patches etc... The car also appears to be accident free as well. The car is sitting on a beautiful new set of 15 inch chrome wheels and really complete the look of this beautiful british sports car. The car is absolutely stunning in its rare shade of blue and the car only suffers from minor blemishes. Much of the chrome is original and showing very well for its age. The bumpers are in beautiful condition and if you look at the rear bumper you will see an emblem from when it was in california! What a great little touch! The doors open and shut beautifully on the car as do the hood and trunk. The whole car just screams quality with the high level of detailing. The previous owner truly did a great job with this car. The beautiful grey top is in like new condition showing only very minor wear and absolutely no rips or tears. The top frame was even restored and is finished beautifully and opperates perfectly! Overall the exterior of the car is in excellent conditon! Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this MGC is in excellent condition and virtually like new! The interior was recently reupholstered featuring gray seats and looks great. The dash is very simple and straight forward with beautiful chrome lined Smiths gauges. All of the gauges are in excellent condition and are free from wondering and excessive bouncing. The area behind the seats was also carpeted making for a very nicely upholstered trunk compartment and also contains a removable speaker box. The modern stereo is nice because unlike most classic, you actually want to drive this car. The seats are so comfortable, the ride is very nice, the engine is powerful and sounds great, this is just a car that you look forward to driving! The steering wheel is a gorgeous motolita steering wheel which feels excellent in your hands and the factory steering wheel is included as well. All of the gauges and lights work. The dash is free of cracks etc... The trunk of the car has been carpeted and the car even comes with a 5th chrome wire wheel with matching michelin tire and factory jack!!! Overall, I would say that the interior is in excellent shape!!! Click to enlarge Engine: The 2912cc straight 6 engine starts up and runs like a top!!! One twist of the key is all it takes to start this car. The carbs have been rebuilt and tuned to perfection!!! The engine fires right up and blowns no smoke on start up or while driving. The car has great compression across all cylinders. This is by far the best sounding model that ever came off the Abingdon production line. The straight six really gives the MG the power and the sound on par with the other great sports cars of the time. The engine also has very strong oil pressure. The engine is fed by two SU carbs and really moves the car along quite well. This MGC runs nice and cool even in Arizonas sweltering heat. The engine bay is virtually clean enough to eat off of. The car was the subject of a bare metal engine out paint job and it was done by true professionals. The results are a show worthy engine bay. The level of detail in the engine bay speaks volumes to the quality of the car. The transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease and the clutch operates smoothingly as well!!! The shift linkage really has a postive feel to the gear change. The car rides, steers and stops GREAT! The car tracks beautifully down the road and the disc brakes are strong and stop this car with ease. Both the clutch and master cylinders were rebuilt at the time of restoration giving both great braking feel and clutch feel. The water pump and radiator were replaced as well. The car rides on a great looking set of original chrome wire wheels. This really is a great driving MGC that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. The car is great fun to drive. Everything works, from the windshield wipers and all of the lights. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive. This car however, shouldn't need anything for sometime! This car is absoultely turn key ready to enjoy! I can not express enough how nicely this car drives down the road and how much fun it is to drive! You will not be dissappointed! Click to enlarge This is a great looking 1969 MGC and it is absolutely beautiful and turn key. This beautiful British Sports car can be purchased for thousands of dollars less than what it took to build. These are truly rare british sports cars and are great fun to drive and will compliment anyones garage. All Reasonable Offers Considered I can help arrange shipping anywhere in the world and international buyers are welcome to enjoy this beautiful MGC . I did a short five day listing on this beautiful 1969 MG MGC-GT, which ended during a time when the eBay questions system was down. I am re listing with a VERY reasonable Buy it Now and you can even make an offer but the car is priced well below what I am in it. I have owned and enjoyed this great MG-C several years, and have taken it to British Car events and shows as well as on some lovely long drives. This car is so smooth, wonderful to drive, and reliable, that it has needed only the cosmetic restoration I have given it, as well as a new clutch, all new brakes which omitted the troublesome dual servos which I do not have, and a complete new cooling system and radiator. I also replaced the steering rack with a new Heritage part, not a rebuilt. The overdrive works flawlessly, and the engine absolutely purrs and never even thinks of getting hot after the recore of the factory radiator, and a new water pump, hoses, etc. I also replaced the entire fuel system and put in a new factory fuel tank when we rebuilt the twin SU carburetors. The car had been dry stored a few years and was what appears to be a legitimate low mileage car. Very unmolested. It was laid up with brake issues from the servos (now all corrected and it stops beautifully with all genuine MG parts and new calipers and all hydraulic cylinders new for brakes and clutch.) Cosmetically I did the very intense job of a new full dashboard on the car. This is not a dash cap of any kind, and requires complete removal and replacement. It looks wonderful. Included is the expensive piece for the radio console as well which I will include (see photo of extra parts) but did not install as I leave it to the new owner to decide what type of radio to use during the fitting of this piece. I have fitted a correct new underhood insulating pad and after these photos were taken, the other rear reflector arrived as well as two genuine new old stock front amber reflectors which I have not fitted as the holes were filled. I think it looks cluttered with all those reflectors but they are included if you want to be correct. I have just installed a brand new battery as well. I have not done under dash pads to conceal wiring, which would look nice after the radio is decided upon. The front marker lamps are new, as are the reverse lamp units and all the rear lenses as well. The car has beautiful new leather seats in the correct pattern and style for this model year only, which were quite costly to do well and also has a British Made new full carpet kit. The two kick panels not showing in the photos are now fitted. The car was painted its original Primrose yellow to a very high standard, and chrome trim and badges were replaced, but the original bumpers looked quite good and remain with some average wear. The windshield has some light scratching but all other glass is excellent and the windscreen is fine as is for a driver. All the troublesome aluminum trim is still present front and rear. There is no rust that I can find in either the floors or rocker areas and the rockers look like good quality steel replacements at some point. There was no body work needed when I repainted the car, and preparation was done carefully with new side mouldings , badges and other trim fitted after removal. The trunk is perfect and the car is very solid with no corrosion in the battery box either. There are four recent high quality Pirelli tires on solid painted type wire wheels as well as a good spare wire wheel and tire, jack, and spare wheel hardware. The period radio is not hooked up and the antennae hole has a rubber plug. All the gauges and electrics work, and there is a new correct heater valve The fussy chrome covers for the liftgate springs were also replaced. This is a very pretty way above average driver quality car, that gets lots of attention at shows. It is such a pleasure to drive, and with some needed detailing in the engine room, could win club shows. New bumpers are quite inexpensive and would add to the beauty, and the interior with its gorgeous new carpet, leather, and high cost dash job is truly superb. The photo shows that I omitted the ashtray which is included, and also the hard to find original air cleaner is there with one of the two mounting discs (the other can be found online or fabricated easily) and the hardware. I also include a bit of a touring kit of new extra hoses , belt, and other items. I am selling this wonderful car to complete a recently acquired Triumph TR250 another smooth six cylinder British Sports car that I love. I will sorely miss my gorgeous C-GT. There are little things to do on the car as noted above but absolutely nothing that will prevent its new owner from simply getting in and enjoying the driving experience right away. I also changed out to new all the cables: hood, choke, accellerator, and speedo. The project cars that have been trading at Hagerty Low prices around 6 & 7K make this an absolute steal for what has been done to it. You cannot build a nice one of these for this price if you start with a free car. . If you've wanted a C-GT and have avoided the junk and projects wisely, this is your car finally arrived. Seems a lot of the automatics have been floating around too but a good, solid Overdrive C is getting harder to find. Somebody snags a car you could never build for the price. It is a good one, Grab it! Check my feedback. I don't sell one of my cars often, but when I do its a great opportunity. Feel free to ask questions or for more pictures.

You are bidding on a rare 1951 MGTD “C” roadster. There were only about 1,700 total “C” TDs produced during the run of about 30,000 total MGTDs. The “C” (competition) model came from the factory with a whopping 5 to 6 HP more than the standard MGTD, due to some modifications at the factory. This car has been in storage about 40 years. The previous owner bought the car in 1966. It still has the dual fuel pumps, Andrex shock absorbers, original larger air cleaner, bulge in the right side of the hood for the larger intake manifold, etc. It does not appear to have ever been molested. The engine is the original, matching numbers one that came with the car from the factory. (See picture of VIN tag and engine tag.) Rust does not appear to be a problem with this car. The only rust hole I could find was in the bottom of the battery box. Some of the wood that is visible will need attention, such as where the top attaches in the back. If this were a standard MGTD, it would probably sell for around $4,000 less than my “Buy It Now” price. If you’re looking for an MGTD to restore, it makes more sense to pay the extra $4,000 for a rare one because you’ll more than make up this cost if you decide to sell it once it’s restored. I expect payment within 5 days of the end of the auction. The car can be picked up after your check has cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I can give the name of a good, reliable shipper if you wish. Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale and the Florida Title I received when I bought the car. If you have any questions, you can use the “Ask Seller A Question” box, or call me at (912) 222-5771 between 9 AM and 9 PM, Eastern time.

This roadster is very solid with decent paint. The frame looks good as do all of the panels. The indicators added by a previous owner look a little odd but will take little effort to relocate or remove. They are not connected into the wiring and there is no indicator switch. Upholstery looks relatively new and a new steering wheel has been added (the original one will go with the car), It has new rear brake cylinders and a new brake light switch. The distributor internals were rebuilt and it has a new cap and ignition wires. The tan top is in great condition and a new custom top cover has been fitted.

Up for auction is nice cute MG Midget from 1979, in nice shape for the year. Painted red some years ago. I have been adding some things here and there and have decided to keep it as a roadster, because it's more easy like this and fun. Also I live in Southern California. (will post more later) ********** PAYMENT TERMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: ********** I accept: C.O.D if you are local, m.o., cashier's check, personal check (allow to clear). Sorry, No Paypal at this time for payment, only for $200 deposit . I might be able to do paypal for full payment, but please contact me first. Please contact me within 24 hours, Deposit due in 2 days . Full amount of vehicle is due in 7 days. Please pick up or ship car within 1 week of auction's end. If you are local, and can see the car in person, I encourage you to come out and see it for yourself. Photos can only show you so much. Don't come out to "see" the car once you have won the auction to see if you LIKE the car. Once the auction ends and you are the high bidder, you are the legal owner. (check the ebay rules). If you are the high bidder, and for whatever reason do not get the car, you forfeit your $200 deposit. I don't know the previous history on this car, just what I know personally. I go through the car and do a check list of what is working or not, and any defects. I also drive the car for a few days to see how she "feels". Car was bought from a local gentleman and Title is in his name. IF OUT OF STATE: Check with your local DMV (before bidding) if this is OK. If your state requires a title in the seller's name (me), then please don't bid. (unless of course you have someone here in CA to title it for you). Please consider this before bidding, it is YOUR responsibility to check. Please bid responsibly, this is a binding contract. By placing a bid or clicking on the Buy-it-now option, you are agreeing to all terms. I reserve the right to cancel bids and end the auction early. If you need more pics, please let me know which area. Buyer is responsible for the shipping and transporting of car. CHECK YOUR LOCAL YELLOW PAGES OR ONLINE FOR CAR SHIPPERS OR AUTO TRANSPORTERS FOR THEIR PRICING FROM ZIP 91606. This car is totally drivable, but you assume full responsibility if you want to drive her a long distance. I am selling it as is. These cars are bought at a local benefit sale where the proceeds go to good causes. Most cars come from affluent communities where the owner's buy a new vehicle and donate there "old" one for a tax write off. I've been buying cars at charity events for years and everyone makes out. I try to be as honest as possible about these cars and list what I know, but I'm not a mechanic or body repair person. I have done this for years and everyone has been happy with the cars. I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK, mostly from cars on ebay. If you really need to call me, go ahead, but I've described it as best as I can: 818-272-1112 God bless and hope you love your car purchase. **NOTE** If you have "0" Feedback, please don't bid, I've had too many flakes in the past.

VIN: GT242321959 MG MGA COUPE STREET ROD for sale. Motorcar Classics presents this ultimate British-American hybrid Street Rod. The car is featured in Maroon with Red interior and Black vinyl roof. The basis of this car was a 1959 MGA fixed-head coupe that had been damaged in the front end. It was professionally built by substituting a custom front end from the firewall forward. The engine is a real Ford 428 Cobra Super Jet V8 with Tri-Power carburetion. The motor was built by Richie Zul (W. Babylon, NY) who is known for high performance engines. The transmission is a Ford C6 3-speed automatic. It runs a 3.83 Ford rear with drum brakes and Hoosier tires all around. The custom racing headers have block-off plates to run the exhaust through the rear for street use. Or the exhaust can be opened up for maximum noise and power. There are only about 60 miles on the car since it was built. The engine is estimated to be putting out about 600 HP! With a curb weight of just 2,200 lbs., this car is FAST!. Astute Ford performance enthusiasts will see that the real value here is the motor, which would be difficult to duplicate for the price of this entire car. So if you are a builder you can imagine putting this motor into a Mustang, or into a wide variety of other projects where it would be a huge asset. There is lots of fun and lots of value here for a very low price. QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS PLEASE CALL OR TEXT CRAIG 516-885-9356

This is a completely restored MG inside and out. $30,000 invested and it has many extra parts including an extra set of stock wheels and tires like new (C-last Picture). The suspension has been upgraded. This is a show ready MGB and it's engine compartment is cherry! The list is too long for this ad, however, keep in mind this was a complete restoration everything was replaced and/or rebuilt! All the body bolts were replaced with stainless steel hardware. I've added an aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio. The engine, trans and other items were rebuilt and it remains in stock condition. I've been told a Weber conversion and exhaust system would be an upgrade if someone would like to do that in the future, with a cost of about $500.00 in parts! It's a simple do-it-yourself job. The pictures tell the story on this beauty....You'll hear people say what they're selling is in excellent condition, until you see it and really examine it top to bottom! I have a 100% rating with Ebay, you don't get that unless you are honest with what you are selling.....So, I'm so sure this MGB will knock your socks off that I'll totally refund your deposit if it isn't as sweet as I have described it! Please send any questions you may have, but if it's about any part being restored, the answer is "Yes" God Bless and good luck bidding! P.S..It has the Tonneau cover and convertible cover also! Additionally, you will notice the MGB racing wheels have been polished out....Nice look don't ya think! Again, if you are a purest...You can put he very nice original MGB wheels and tires on that are going with this beauty for a pure restored look!
